This was my first time using a charcoal mask and I was super excited to try this mask because of all the great reviews I hear about Korean skin care. I like that the packaging and how to has each packet sorted out with just the amount you’ll need. Opening the packets is a little tricky so I recommend using a pair of scissors. The texture of the charcoal is thick and sticky but is really easy to apply on your face. I used my finger tips but I highly suggest using an application brush/spatula to make it easier and makes less of a mess when applying. Once you apply a thin layer of it , it definitely dries within 15-20 mins as advertised. You’ll feel your face start to tighten a little. I did like that it was light weight and it didn’t burn or anything ( especially since I have sensitive skin. It was easy to peel off and I definitely noticed some of my blackheads go away and got rid of some of the gung in my pores. Any left over residue easily washes off with warm water. I noticed it left my skin feeling super soft and you’ll want to finish it off with a toner and moisturizer. All in all, I enjoyed the product and will be using it once every two weeks.

So, I tried this charcoal peel-off mask, and here's my two cents in a nutshell: Packaging and Prep: They've got individual packs in a resealable bag, which is smart. But opening those packs can be a bit tricky, and the mask is as thick as honey. Easy Application and Drying: It's a breeze to put on, and it dries in about 10 minutes. That tingly feeling while it dries. Kinda cool! Sensations: That tingling feeling at the start is a nice touch. Peeling: Yeah, it peels off pretty well, and if you're gentle, you might get it off in one piece. It does nab some blackheads, so that's a win. Skin Effect: Afterward, my skin felt cleaner, and my pores seemed smaller. The catch? It's a bit drying, so slap on some moisturizer! Mess Factor: Like any charcoal mask, this one's messy when wet. It sticks to your fingers, but a little warm water takes care of it. !! Sensitive Skin Beware: If you've delicate skin, this might be too intense. How Often? They say twice a week, but for sensitive skin types, maybe once a month is enough. In a nutshell, it's a pretty fun mask that does the job, but it's not perfect. If you're up for a little mess and some tingly excitement, give it a shot! I like it! Will order again

For reference, my skin is: dry, sensitive, acne prone + closed comedones prone. I recently tried out these Charcoal Peel Off Masks by elixir premium lab and OMG.... To be honest, I wasn't expecting them to help all that much but I was severely wrong. After only ONE mask, you could hardly see my blackheads anymore! This mask pulled out so much gunk from my face that I didn't even know was there. It said "gentle peeling" on the front which was important to me because I have sensitive skin and it, indeed, was a gentle peel! The directions say to leave it on for 15-20 minutes so I left it on for 20 minutes just to ensure it was fully dry. This mask did NOT leave my face feeling dry or tight afterwards. However, I did wash my face with my normal PM routine after I removed the mask just to make sure there was nothing left on my skin from it. I'll be using these masks once a week even though the package says you can apply it twice a week (just personal preference). I DEFINITELY recommend these. They're affordable and a nice way to remove any stubborn blackheads or clogged pores in a gentle way!

This product’s application worked well although the drying time was long. I didn’t really notice a difference in my skin after though so I personally wouldn’t buy them again.

Just to specify my skin type, I have sensitive skin and combination skin but lately my skin has been very dry on my nose but have had so many blackheads. This stuff works and takes out alot of the blackheads. I would say you have to apply it thick in all areas otherwise it will not peel off in some areas don't dry as well as others. However it's a great face mask. I'm allergic to adhesives. It's interesting that in the directions it says if you're allergic to adhesives do not use this product. I tried it on my wrist first, didn't have a reaction. Tried it on my face and it did not cause any type of bad reaction. Furthermore, I'm allergic to all of those acne cleanser active ingredients. Wasn't allergic to this. While I see the blackheads when I peel it off, I do wonder how much of it is dry skin and how much I actually pulls the entire blackhead out. I think that the multiple packs are helpful to finally get it all out.

This is a great charcoal mask. First and foremost it’s advertised as Korean Premium Quality and if you know anything Korean skincare you know just how great that is. This charcoal mask is effective in helping unclog your pores leaving your skin smooth and refreshed. I love that you get value for your money as this mask is offered in bulk. I ordered the 8 pack and these will last awhile. The instructions are easy to follow. Apply, set a timer, let it dry, and peel. Not only is this the perfect way to show your skin some TLC but it upgrades your self care routine as well. It was exciting to see all the other great reviews and mine is no different. Highly recommend.
