When I was young I used to play competitively and often had serious problems with my thumb with soreness and blisters specially after not playing for a while.Now after having this problem again I ordered the storm thunder tape and today I had the opportunity to use it. I put the tape in the base of my thumb and was able to play 6 games with minimal discomfort at the site of my blister. The tape did not move during this time. I could not believe it. I will be able to play more often with this tape. A few months before I purchased this, I bowled and tore the skin from my thumb. I know I was probably doing something wrong and need to correct but I couldn't do that if my thumb was all tore up. After my purchase I used a small piece on the side of my thumb and bowled. It was strong enough to stay on while I bowled but light enough that I didn't even notice I was wearing it. I bowled 4 straight games without a single issue and my scores actually went up. Helps when my hand isn't swollen and need the extra space in there. Ball doesn't catch on the tape at all, and if/when my hand starts swelling I can take off the tape and next to no residue on my fingers.
