Hologram Electronics Infinite Jets Resynthesizer

I've had this bad boy over a year and have yet to discover all its nuances. I use it mainly with my electric bass but I've recently started running a keyboard through it and am going to try feeding some mic'd instruments - voice, accordion, music box, etc - and am looking forward to the results. This effect was, at first, a bit tough to get to know: it's got a lot of functions and sound possibilities and I was worried that it might make some interesting sounds but that I might never be able to reproduce them when I needed them. The device does let you store presets - though it's not the easiest thing in the world - but I've gotten used to all the knobs and what they do and keep a notebook on what settings to dial up. Someday I'll figure out how to use the presets function but for now I'm happy discovering all the amazing sounds I can coax out of it and pleasing my inner Eno! This pedal also 'plays well with others'; it has it's own drive (overdrive) function, but I've found it complements chorus, delay & even ring modulation effects in my pedal chain. I don't give out 5 stars willy nilly - or even usually write reviews - but the Infinite Jets Hologram resynthesizer gets 5 out of 5 stars easily! Love it!

Got this as a present for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves it and is constantly playing around with it.
