Good value!
I am a long time musician and have a music studio in my home. I bought these TS cables to connect my mixer to a headphone amplifier/splitter so I can go silent while practicing and recording with my e-drums and guitars. I recently replaced my acoustic drum kit with the e-drum set to spare my wife who suffers from migraine seizures. I buy “Cable Matters” cables because they are affordable and reliable. They always get the job done. These are not the highest quality cables, but for the price they are an excellent value. They are not thick (heavy wire gauge) like cables for high volume passive speaker connections but that’s not why I bought them. They are flexible with decent quality end plugs. They work great for connecting my mixer LR outputs to my amplifier inputs. I even tested these cables by connecting them to my bass guitar. I don’t recommend them for live stage performances, but for practice or studio work, they sound as good as any of the other more expensive cables I have. I have other audio cables from Cable Matters and they are all decent quality and work well if used for their stated purposes. I definitely recommend these TS cables for mono unbalanced audio input purposes.

Works fine, but possibly linked to a humming noise
This cable works and does its job connecting my setup. The one issue I've run into is a small humming noise on my speaker system — not sure if it's coming from this cable or the speakers themselves, but there's some electrical interference somewhere that I haven't been able to track down. Otherwise, solid connection and no issues with basic functionality. Would still recommend, just something to be aware of if you're troubleshooting noise issues in your setup.

The name says it ALL!
Returning customer because of the quality of the construction and the price of the product. Paid more and gotten less. Thoroughly impressed with what I've received thus far. Cables REALLY do matter... the name says it ALL!!

Cables do matter
Unfortunately I have found out the hard way that cables do matter. I have traced more noise problems and I care to mention that were due to poor cable quality. The cheaper brands quality in specs are a little off, which causes loose connections when plugged in. Especially quarter inch cable connections. I chased down a cable loss between my monitor switch and my monitors. It turned out the cable connector of one manufacturer had a 12 ohm difference between two identical cables. This caused greater loss going from one speaker to another. Headphone balance was fine but my left channel speaker out was noticeably lower due to a cheaper cable pair. I have replaced multiple cable runs with cable matters and so far I have no complaints. They seem to be a well-made and consistent cable manufacturer.

Heavy Duty Cabling | Silent Operation and Great Signal Integrity
These quarter-inch instrument cables are excellent. The molded boots provide great strain relief at the jacks, and the shielding completely isolates the signal from interference. They sound crisp, clear, and punchy with no microphonic line noise when moved around.

A good and reasonably priced cable...
For short runs , this is a very nice cable for the price , the connectors are a bit thin , but will do the job , get it when it's on sale...super fast delivery , got it the next day...

Misleading Marketing
Don’t waste your money on these cables. They will pass signal — that’s it. If your only goal is to confirm that your instrument makes sound, they’ll do that. Nothing more. The shielding is aluminum, not copper, which means poor noise rejection and inadequate protection in studio environments. Their marketing claims tinned copper shielding, but you can verify this yourself by opening the cable and inspecting it. The information is misleading. The connectors are not gold-plated either. They may look gold, but appearance doesn’t equal proper plating. Test it yourself. I’ve done side-by-side measurements and comparisons. These cables are not worth the price. They look premium, but performance-wise they fall short — especially in recording and professional studio situations. To semi-pro and professional musicians: stick with proven combinations like Mogami cable with Neutrik connectors. Reliability, proper shielding, and consistent signal integrity matter. These cables will tell you your instrument is making sound. They won’t give you clean, dependable audio for serious work. I made a mistake and purchase 8 of them and if I could I would return them all.
