How many needles are there? (One would think the ad or the packaging would say.)

It has 5 needles. 2 on each side and one in the middle.

What gauge are the needles?

There are fine and heavy refill needles that are available for this item. The fine needles are included with this item. Here is a link to the heavy needle refill: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WZ1SUY/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=

Why won't Amazon send this to my address?

You will need to contact Amazon directly to see why, sellers cannot see your address until an order actually comes through. It could be as simple as a typo in the address or if you are trying to have something shipped overseas by a seller who doesn't ship internationally. Hope this helps and good luck!

Does the tool take only the Clover brand replace needles? Thanks.

It would be best to use the Clover brand, but you may be able to use others. Unfortunately, we have not tested other brands to see if they will or will not work.
