Good quality, nice field of view
This camera was a breath of fresh air! I went through a heap of trouble with another one that I also bought on amazon. That one had a smaller sensor than what was advertised, so the FOV was super narrow, and I had to return it. This is much better. It even came with a 5mm spacer that I needed to get it properly distanced to allow it to focus. If you're new to all of this like I was, be advised that you'll probably need something called a CTV adapter with a focusing ring in order to make it work with your microscope. In my case, I needed a 0.35x CTV adapter, but from what I understand, this will vary depending on your particular microscope. I'm impressed with the image quality. My microscope is very much budget level, since I'm only using it for microsoldering as a hobby, so the optics aren't the greatest. There are parts of the picture near the corners that seem a little blurry, but that's true to what I see through the eyepieces, not a reflection of the camera quality.

Arrived in the language of Chinese or japinese
Revised review ( I sent the original camera back and got a new one and this one arrived in English and the shutter speed function works as it should and I'm extremely satisfied. I tried another brand hayear and they claim to be 4K but it wasn't. Highly recommend this camera and all images were taken of my computer screen with my cellphone. These are all us pennies in the photos. CONS: arrived to my house in the united states where the menu settings were in Chinese or Japanese. I am unable to change the exposure time to adjust for lighting but I compensate by adjusting the lights on my microscoppe. Requires a 0.50x reduction lense no owners manual but it's rather easy to use so don't really need one. No battery with the remote and doesn't say what size to use and doesn't tell in the description either but I figured it out and I'll save you the hastle. LITHIUM CELL battery number is CR2025. One last thing I'm using a computer monitor and I have yet to figure out how to review the images on the SD Card(not included) PROS: the image is exactly the same as I am seeing it through my vision scientific (VS 2FZ) trinocular stereo microscope minus the color is slightly off however if color isn't an issue for you then I can assure you that the clarity of that image will more than make up for it. The pixel size within an images sensor matters more than anything else and this is comparable to the 2 big hitters of AMscope and vision scientific which vision scientific is the brand of scope I have and took the photos from. I tried a hayear camera that said it's 4K and unfortunately it wasn't nearly as clear and crisp as this one is. I can see absolutely every detail there is.. I wish they had half ratings in this because I'd give this a 5 stars if it wasn't for the little other issues but it's a solid 4.7 for certian and that is because the image is so clear as seen by my photos I attached. Note to amqzonษ yes I used brand names of everything I am using so as not to confuse the potential customer of this product because it matters a lot with these type of cameras so if amazon doesn't allow that then I will edit this review if not then I suppose the others reading this review will see this too.

how to get rid of those lines...need help, and they did help, amazing
the camera is not well supported by manufacturer, very hard to find relevant informations, like how to upgrade, hoe to reset, how to get rid of matrix of lines on the hdmi output, i have tried everything to get rid of them to no avail.. there are no support company behind..built is good, but as per chinasium stuff , software comes on s mini cd,who uses cd anymore, luckily i add one lying around, and got the camera software to work (win7) anyhow, would be great if a company would offer support for the product they sell...wow update, i sent an email to koppace company, and they immediatly replied with appripriate informations,so i could resolve my issue,i am very happy they did..,i give them now a 4 stars..thankss

i really wanted to like it, but it is limited
Image looks good on the monitor, however, there are not many options available in the on-screen menu. For example, setting the date/time. So, my images start at Jan 1, 2000. And worse, when saving a picture to the TF card, it saves a JPEG at 6552 ร 3688 resolution. There does not appear to be any way to change that on device. I thought this may be a good replacement for a Hayear HY-6110, but that camera has much better on camera software and can export 8528 ร 4808 images (it can also set the time!). I believe both cameras use the same Sony sensor, and assume image quality should be about the same. It came packaged in a simple, non-branded, plain box with a soft foam insert for moderate protection. Another odd thing was the included CD. Who has a CD/DVD player these days? I want my software from the net from a trusted source. I did not dare insert an unknown disc. The software may have offered functionality that was not available through the camera's interface, but I'll never know as it is being returned.

An Excellent Microscope Camera!
This is an excellent microscope camera, although it came with NO Instruction booklet. It's easy to work with, though the software takes some time to figure out. It came with a software disk with four different programs, of which KOPPACE is the best, although it has a 135 page .pdf manual/help file, and requires a good bit of time reading it to learn just how to used it effectively with the camera (and the software does control the camera when the computer is directly connected to it...). The camera does have a slot for a microSD card, and can probably be controlled with the buttons on the top, or with the remote control, but I haven't tried that, because the software provide much better, more precise control of what you're seeing through the microscope. Note that in Visual mode, before you capture an image, it's best to increase the brightness of the field of view. One method, which most microscopists use is to increase the intensity of the microscope's illuminator, but this can overheat the specimen on the slide. (Remember, the scope's condenser focuses both light and heat on the specimen for the purpose of making the specimen, itself, appear to be the source of the light.) Instead, set the illuminator to about half or slightly greater intensity, and increase the brightness of the view using the software, compensating with increasing either contrast or altering the gamma setting.

Worked great!
Connect the x.5 cmount to the camera and microscope, connected HDMI cable , which was a nice flat one. Connected 5 volt USB c cable turned it on focused microscope looking at the TV and took the attached picture using my phone of the TV pic. Looked with the microscope eyepiece to my surprise it was also in focus. The remote didn't come with a battery so I used a 2032 button one, worked fine . The only bad thing I can say is the blue power light makes it hard to see using the manual button but the remote can turn the led off. This is a great buy and very satisfied with it

You need a proper adapter for an amscope trinocular
Great aluminum construction, easy tonight menus and compacting. I am using it on an amscope trinocular scope. U need a get an additional 9.5x adapter in order for the camera to focus properly. I went thru all sorts of adapters to get the right one
