I bought this product 3 months ago and have used it a handful of times. The product description on Amazon matches perfectly with the product I received and so far, the product works as described. I experienced improved results on my hair when I apply the hydrating cream and wear this heat cap (compared to not wearing the cap and just applying the cream). The hair feels a lot smoother. So, I’d say it’s been worth the purchase.

The heat cap has started off strong! I love how you can adjust the temperature level. I have very thick 4c hair so I was really looking for a hot enough cap and I can say that this has good heat quality. I set the temp to level 10, the highest level, which is hot enough where you really feel the heat on your scalp, but not too hot to cause a burn. I also have a sensitive scalp and this hasn’t caused any problems for me. Something I found is that you have to leave the cap on for a few minutes to feel the heat buildup. one thing I’ve struggled in the past with these type of heat caps is how over time, they stop producing as much heat till eventually only starts producing a little bit of heat, becoming ineffective. So I’ll wait a few more months and then again in a year or so and leave a review to see if it’s maintained its quality.

You can slather on just any conditioner that’s good and thick and add lots of hair oil to the ends. The heat from the cap helps the oils and emollients penetrate for the softest, shiniest and most hydrated hair. Your frizzy ends will disappear if you use this thing regularly. Depending on your hair, this could be weekly, monthly or as needed.

I honestly wasn’t expecting it to get as warm as it does, but I was really impressed! The cap heats up nicely and stays consistently warm, which really helped my deep conditioner penetrate my hair. I have severely damaged Type 4 Afro hair that’s been very dry and difficult to manage, so I wasn’t expecting a huge difference after just one use. But after my first treatment, my hair felt so much softer, looked healthier, and was far more moisturised than usual. It was also much easier to detangle, and my curls felt more defined. If you have Type 4 Afro hair and struggle with dryness or damage, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try. The heat makes a noticeable difference, and it feels like a proper salon deep-conditioning treatment at home. I’m excited to keep using it and see how much my hair improves over the next few weeks!

This is one of my favourite buys from Amazon. I use this for deep conditioning and mask on my hair. This heats up real fast and the best thing is you can control the heat. Must buy for soft and shiny hair.
