Ocean Potion is and has been my favorite sunscreen for over 15 years. A couple of years ago, it was unavailable!! I was so sad. Recently by chance I checked , and there it was! For sale again. This sunscreen provides excellent coverage, with mild fragrance and quick drying properties. I highly recommend Ocean Potion for any time you need sunscreen.

I'm very picky about sunscreen and after my previous favorite changed their formula, I've been on the hunt for a brand I can exclusively purchase throughout the sunny months. I've used the whole can now, and can happily say I will be repurchasing. I'm a strawberry blonde with pale, cool toned skin. The 50 spf has been perfect, no need to spend the extra money for the 70 spf. I am a REAPPLIER- that being said I haven't burned yet, even on the high UV days. Surprisingly non greasy and my whole family loves the smell.

Years ago I was looking for a sunscreen that didn't have so many harmful ingredients, but that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and I discovered Ocean Potion fit the bill. I have been using it for about 10 years now. My kids love the creamsicle smell, it reminds us of our favorite vacation spot. Rubs in easily and isn't greasy. We also love the cream version as well.

I've used Ocean Potion lotion sunscreen on my kids for years and really like the brand, so I wanted to try the spray version. It smells good, sprays easily, and is convenient for areas where lotion is harder to apply. I especially like it for my kids' heads/scalps since that's an area that can easily get missed and burned. I still prefer the lotion though. The spray doesn't seem to go nearly as far and we went through the bottle pretty quickly. For the price, I don't think it's as good of a value. I also don't think the protection lasts quite as well. My kids seem to start getting pink sooner with the spray, especially when swimming, so I'd be more likely to use this for shorter, non-water outdoor activities. My younger son also developed a red rash on the backs of his legs after using it. I noticed some redness the first time but didn't realize it was from the sunscreen. When it happened again and was a little worse, I made the connection. The rash showed up within about an hour. My older son hasn't had any reaction, and my younger son has used the Ocean Potion lotion for years without an issue, so there seems to be something about this particular formula that doesn't agree with his skin. I like the convenience and the scent, but for us the lotion lasts longer, seems to protect better, and is a better value.
