Believe it or not this works! I have an old stereo that has good sound but I use to only be able to play it with Aux cable/Cassette converter and the sound was trash. Now most phones do not have an audio jack at all and you're usually stuck with a USB-C. I took a chance and hooked it up, worked will, connected no problem and it it clear as can be!

This is a good quality cable that I can use to hook my phone up to my home stereo and listen to Spotify. This was exactly why I bought it and it works.

I bought this cable for a specific setup — getting audio from my iPhone 16 Pro into a Notepad 8FX. Once I had everything connected, my iPhone asked what type of device I’d plugged in. I chose “Headphones” at first, but that limited the output volume quite a bit. After switching the connection type to “Other Device,” everything worked perfectly. The audio came through loud and clear, with no distortion or signal loss. If you’re using this with an iPhone, that little setting change makes all the difference. Once it’s configured correctly, this cable does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Well this works great in my car it wasn't the plug that I wanted I wanted all three RCA cables but it sounded really good it worked really well honestly So if this is actually the correct cable that you're looking for go for it this is just for sound no video,

I use this cable for my iPhone to hook up to my hifi setup. And it works great!

When audio starts after even a few seconds of quiet, the DAC takes a fraction of a second to "kick in." So you miss the first beat of a song if one wasn't already playing immediately before. This is not a problem in online meetings and maybe for games, but listening to music is annoying. The audio quality is also meh compared to other USB DACs. I also noticed when I plugged this into a particular USB dock, the plug would get really hot to the touch. This only happens with this one dock, but it seems really odd that that's even possible. Other things plugged into the dock don't heat up like this.

Works well. Audio is good considering it is a cost effective cable.
