TORRO Flip Phone Case Compatible With iPhone SE/8/7 – Premium, Genuine Leather Cover with Card Slots and Vertical Flip Down Cover (Black)

Good quality, very smart & sturdy. Not the cheapest, though it’s not that easy to find phone cases that flip up rather than open like a book! The two card slots hold the contents securely. It feels like it will last a good length of time. Would be nice if there was a choice of colours rather than just black but that’s a minor issue. As long as it does what I need that’s fine!

Having upgraded my iPhone and always ensuring the investment is properly protected, I ordered a Torro Leather Flip Down case which arrived a couple of days after ordering and apart from that wonderful smell of leather that emanates from the packaging, the case was exactly as described - beautifully finished in tan hide with the Torro logo cut into the front surface.The inner case, in smooth matt black finish, grips the iPhone with such precision that once it's in place, you have no fear of it falling out! Moreover, the clever magnetic "clip" holds the case shut so even if you should drop it, the case will remain shut providing protection for that all too valuable screen. Chosen in tan specifically because the interior of my recently replaced car is all black (and my previous phone was sitting in a black leather case, I did keep leaving it in the car even though the car was telling me to remember to remove my phone!) but now, because it's such a sharp contrast, I am not going to forget to remove it with me when I vacate the car :) If you like a bit of luxury with your phone, you'll go a long way to beat this case for so little, relative outlay. Footnote: May 2020 I just swapped my phone for the new iPhone SE as it has the latest chipset aboard in a manageable sized phone and did not hesitate to purchase the Toro Flipdown case to protect it. This time in black with the contrasting red stitching - and it is slightly different to the previous case in that it affords even better protection for the phone all around - brilliant! Worth every penny of your hard earned for something that not just looks good, but does exactly what it says it does!!

The design of this is really well thought out. The magnetic strips at the top are seemless and don’t get in the way when taking photos. There’s also a bit of extra room which means they close when cards are in the card slots. The leather is quality and the design is really smart. The case doesn’t make pressing the volume and power buttons difficult to press either. I’m very happy with this, thank you. It isn’t cheap but will definitely last a while.

This is a great case. I just ordered for my 15 year old son for his iPhone 8 and it fits perfectly. Previously we ordered this same product for his iPhone5s. This is our 3rd one, the first one lasted 2 years and was finally on its legs after serious continuous use, the 2nd one was still going strong and was only replaced as we bought a different phone. The sales person in Apple Store was amazed with this case as the magnet that keeps it shut works very well. My son has had his phone since last year primary school and kids do drop their phones a lot. As the magnet is very good, my son seems to be the only one of his friends who hasn't broken the screen on his phone. It folds back behind the phone quite nicely so is not in the way. On the iPhone 8 when you open the cover as it is magnetic the iPhone seems to come on straight away. Not sure if this is down to the cover, or new tech in the iPhone 8 that notices when it is moved. Anyway a brilliant cover and I would definitely recommend.

High quality product using best materials. Excellent design, drop flap so much better than side flap, magnetic holding really excellent. The business. Update 1 year later. Still great case, but plastic phone holder has now broken At one end and phone slides out occasionally. Look for a less brittle plastic.

This is the 2nd Toro case I have owned, the previous one was for an iPhone 6 which I upgraded recently after 2 1/2 years and it was still going strong, signs of wear and tear, but no surprises there as it is a constant companion. The new one, for an 1phone 7, is just the same brilliant design and build quality and there was no hesitation in going back to Torro for a replacement. It arrived within 24 hrs and the best news was that I found out it is made in Newcastle, UK! - (I had always assumed that this was Italian leather because of the branding). I work on building sites and the protection the Torro gives you is unrivalled in my book. The inevitable slips, drops and falls have never resulted in a cracked screen or any other damage to the phone for that matter. There is even a couple of handy card pockets in the flip down bit, good for receipts, business cards or daft messages form the kids in the morning! Love it!!

Excellent leather case

My iPhone SE case was delivered promptly and as promised. The leather is beautiful and has that lovely aroma that you only get with good quality leather. The workmanship is excellent. It is sturdy, fits perfectly and all controls and apertures are fully catered for. Although the price seems high compared with plastic, it is good value for money, a previous purchase for my last iPhone was in use for years and when I removed it to recycle the phone it was as good as new.

Very nice brown leather and craftsmanship. Magnetic clasps hold the wallet case either closed or open. Holds my drivers license, and credit, health insurance, and Costco cards. There could be room for possibly two more cards. I cannot speak to durability as I have only had this wallet cell phone case for a month. I am pleased so far. July 15, 2023 update: I am still pleased with the quality of the leather and functionality of this wallet case, however the magnetic clasps are showing the effects of a year of active use. The leather on the clasps is now frayed or missing, but the clasps are still fully functional. The case has protected my phone well when I’ve accidentally dropped it. I would still recommend this wallet case. September 8, 2023: Clasps fully failed and magnets are no longer attached. Leather and rest of the wallet case in excellent condition. I will trim the frayed clasp material and I expect to use this wallet case without the clasps until I replace my phone in several years. Based on the quality of the workmanship and the leather, I still consider this an excellent wallet case. Too bad the magnetic clasps are no longer useable.

Nonostante la utilizzi da diverso tempo e in maniera intensiva, nonostante le protezioni in plastica si siano rotte dopo qualche caduta di troppo, nonostante con l'usura la custodia tenda ad andare davanti all'obiettivo del cellulare rimane sempre bella. Come tutte le cose fatte in pelle di qualità con il tempo acquistano sempre più fascino.

Für meinen Partner habe ich vor vielen Jahren für ein iPhone 5 eine erste Klapphülle von Torro bestellt. Seit dem musste es bei jedem neuen Handy wieder genau so eine sein. Es gibt rein gar nichts auszusetzen, passt und schützt das Handy perfekt. Ist sicherlich ein Frage des Geschmacks mit der Frontklappe, die das Display verdeckt, aber so passiert auch ziemlich sicher nichts, wenn es mal runterfällt. Die Klappe lässt sich problemlos nach hinten wegklappen, der Magnetverschluss hält auch nach vielen Jahren täglicher Nutzung, für Ladekabel ist unten eine Aussparung. Die Haptik ist jedenfalls hochwertig und die Hülle sieht sehr wertig aus.

Perfect... just what I was looking for in a phone case. Excellent craftsmanship and easy to hold and use.
