Right size for a 15.6" screen laptop & very quiet
Lightweight - a bit of a plasticky feel to it even with the perforated aluminium top sheet. Very quiet in operation and you may as well increase the speed to maximum as it's no louder and it won't intrude on the quietest room - you can just about hear it still running after the laptop powers down, shutting off its own processor fan. The RPM fan speed count seems a bit gimmicky as it flickers up and down in operation presumably to add some interest. Also notice the speed isn't controlled, just reported on the display - so when first started the maximum speed is less than 1200rpm but it gets there a minute later. Top speed of 1160 RPM when plugged into a laptop USB port - just over 1200 RPM when plugged into an external 5V USB adapter. Device has two USB ports - either one can be used to connect to the laptop and the other is therefore for pass-through connection of another device. I believe this is only USB 2 and so I haven't tried its functionality. Has a tilt stand underneath but I'm not using it - just keeping it folded away. Fans do make a little noise just as they start spinning so I assume they're ultra-cheap sleeve bearings. I've only been running the cooler for a few months so I can't comment on how long the bearings last, but I'd expect them to get noisy after a few years of use. Correct size for a 15.6" screen laptop - may be too small for a 17" laptop. If you lift the laptop up half an inch with the fans running, there is a very noticeable cold breeze underneath so it definitely works. Purchased it because I was running heavyweight video processing software that used the graphics chip in the laptop for all the heavy processing work and meanwhile I was running another file processing app that was running the CPU at almost 100% on all cores. The laptop fan was running full speed all the time but with this device is doesn't have to get there, and I also notice the laptop's fan speed drops down to a slow/quiet level much faster once all the heavy processing is finished. I'd recommend this device - it's much more conservatively styled than the gaming coolers and it is quiet in use under all conditions. One thing I'd say is the USB power connection is at the back so with the supplied cable the USB plug sticks straight. As such you can't push the assembly close to a wall or an enclosed or lipped back to a desk, so if you want to do this try and find a USB to USB cable that has a right-angled connector at one end and you'll be able to get the laptop and cooler a bit further back. All in all very happy with this and wouldn't go back to not having one now.

Good cooler, rubbish USB lead
A good product that stopped my laptop over heating. However there was one small issue in that originally it never got to full speed and sometimes cut out. I noticed the speed increased if I touched the usb lead where it connected to the laptop. So after some consideration I spent £2 and got a new A-A usb lead which got this working correctly at full speed and no more cutting out.

Quiet and effective
I've only been using this cooler for a couple of days, but so far I'm impressed. My Acer Swift laptop has been badly overheating recently causing all sorts of issues so I knew I need to do something. I'll confess when I started looking on Amazon for a laptop cooling pad I wasn't even sure if such a thing existed so was a little overwhelmed with all the options. Having researched for a couple of days, I was fairly certainly KLIM was the right brand for me and this particular model seemed liked a good option for what I need whilst being relatively inexpensive. I've been using it for the last couple of days and so far it seems to be doing the trick. My laptop hasn't overheated and shut down over the last couple of days, and whilst I can hear the fans they're quite quiet and not obtrusive. In addition, the raised position of my laptop is working well for me and along with the two other screens I'm running is now a more ergonomic set up.

Meh
After owning a Klim headset and being really impressed with the quality for the price, I was quite attracted to this when I was looking for a laptop cooler. I was expecting this to meet or exceed my expectations but unfortunatly, it falls short. It doesn't seem much better than the competition and some of those are cheaper too. It does the job. Just about. I think quality control needs to be worked on and some of the marketing is ambitious. Performance with my Gigabyte Aero 15x So whether these coolers in general really make a difference is going to be based on the laptop you have so my experience with my 15x may be different to everyone elses. In terms of CPU and GPU temperature, I haven't noticed much difference at all after running a benchmark on a loop with and without the cooler. What I have noticed is that the bottom of the laptop generally feels cooler to the touch. Warm instead of hot. The 15x has quite a few vents on the bottom but it's mostly reliant on passive cooling for components like the SSD which do get warm. The cooler certainly reduces the temperatures here. I would like to think keeping these parts cooler would increase the lifetime of the machine so probably worth doing. Other thoughts The fan speed control doesn't really let you choose cool and noisy or warm and quiet; just warm and quiet or hot. You may as well run this at max all the time beings as they're so quiet which makes the fan control a bit redundant. The supplied USB cable needs wiggling to work sometimes. I have occasions where it just stops and beings as it's quiet, I don't even notice. The cover on the display wasn't stuck on straight at all for me either. I had to peel it off and stick it down again. Pros -The design is quite nice looking and I like the blue display showing fan RPM -Fairly sturdy -Fans are barely audible Cons -Questionable quality control -"KLIM Swift allows for a quick laptop cooling thanks to its 2 fans which rotate at more than 1,200 revolutions per minute each" - If I max it out, mine barely managed 1000RPM let alone more than 1200. -Fan makes a weird noise if <800RPM -Doesn't run at full speed by default (more like 80%) and doesn't remember speed setting if powered off. -The fans don't really move all that much air.

I bought this laptop cooler just for my DJI mini 3 Pro drone to keep the drone cool during updates.

This cooling pad does exactly what it's supposed to do - cool my laptop. I have an 18.4" screen, so it's a pretty big laptop and the pad holds and supports it quite well. The fans are rated to run at 1200rpm, but mine has never gotten above 1160rpm and usually max at about 1140-1150rpm. Pretty close I think. It is also very quiet even at max rpms. The Amazon price seems quite reasonable. I recommend it.
