Literally everything I look for in a tape gun. It's open center allows you to tape the perimeter of boxes and packages with ease by keeping your hand in the center and simply spinning your hand around said package. It easily shears tape with it's aggressive teeth. The bar to keep the tape from falling back into the roll works marvellously and doesn't make putting a new roll on any harder and the metal prongs holding the tape in place both does exactly that and prevents the tape from spinning backwards so the tape never receeds underneath the bar and back onto the roll by mistake. All of my problems with previous tape guns are cured. Also the tape stopper aspect that lets you keep the box pulled tightly together while you tape the top together is large and sturdy. Well done

It is so great that having it and it coming through whenever anything needs to be taped up and I use it everywhere that when I can’t find it, you know you really need it. Bought a second one in pink/purple color. Great value big sturdy durable design and easy to find. The razor to cut tape works well and sharp enough to cut the tap with ease

I am getting ready to purchase another one of these, but after writing my own review, I might do some more searching. I do quite a bit of packing because all my business is online. Over the years I have packed up thousands of boxes. I get SO tired of the tape sticking back onto itself and then having to waste a couple turns trying to get it unstuck. It's wasteful and time consuming. I knew there had to be a better tape dispenser that solved this problem, so I went looking. Now, I don't buy the super thick, most expensive tape or the 'easy start' tape. I buy the thinner packing tape and it sticks to itself REALLY bad. As in, once stuck back to itself, I can only get one side corner of the tape to peel up, and then I have to unroll it as it tears along itself for at least one full rotation to get back over to where the full width is peeling off again. THE CON: This tape dispenser does have a little wheel that prevents the tape from sticking back directly onto the tape roll again. However, the tape does get stuck around the little wheel sometimes and THEN back onto itself and that's almost worse. Because the wheel is such a small diameter and it's tucked up under the 'hood' just below the cutting teeth, it's almost impossible to get it off. The tape is wrapped tightly around the wheel, then stuck back to itself and the only way to get it off is go get something like a box cutter and cut it off the wheel, then peel it off or try to pull it off sideways, which usually does not work. It's just too 'stuck'. Although a VAST improvement over the red dispensers that come with the tape rolls, this isn't perfected yet. But if you use the 'easy start' tape or the really thick packing tape, you may not have the problem I do with it.

Love this!!! I had a metal one like this that was super heavy and the roll of tape was constantly falling out and getting tangled up - or - the tape would roll back on itself and I had to pick and peel to start the tape again. Ugh!! These are extremely light weight, but the absolute best feature of this tape dispenser is a little piece of metal that prevents the tape from rolling back and also keeps the roll of tape from falling out. The teeth are nice and sharp, so the tape is easy to tear. Have already bought several more for my business and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone considering this product.

Works fine, if it was any lighter construction it would float off the desk. Good for home use but would not hold up for long on a packing operation. There is no diagram for threading the tape, this IS rocket science! Value? worth about $2.00.

This was not worth wasting my money on! I ended up returning it, and I hate to return products! I had broken my hand, and wanted an easy packing tape dispenser. This one had good reviews and they said the tape would not stick to the roll so I tried it. There is a whole different problem... the tape didn’t stick to the roll, instead, it got trapped inside the little space between the teeth to rip it and the Top portion to hold it on! So I would have to stick my hand in the area against the metal teeth and hope not to cut myself, every time I wanted to pull tape out! To me that was worse than having to peel it off the roll occasionally! I ended up paying a little more and getting a desk/table dispenser for my packing tape and I am so happy I did!

This is so convenient and much easier for me to use than those handled industrial tape gun styles. Those were all that was available for decades so I got used to it, but never liked it at all. I would end up just using the roll of tape in one hand and scissors in the other. This dispenser is FABULOUS! Do be mindful of the correct way to load the tape so it works. Do NOT try to thread the tape through the minuscule space between the metal teeth and the top of the dispenser. It actually "free flows" through the wider space below the black roller and above the ribbed colored plastic rod. The ribbed rod is what keeps the end of the tape from rolling back and sticking to the roll. The end of the tape does not stick to the teeth - it sticks out, but is totally fine.

Der Abroller ist sehr handlich. Er tut, was er soll. Einziger kleiner Nachteil, die Zähne an der Abrisskante sind nicht so scharf. Da muss man manchmal zwei.al ansetzen.

These are amazing. I work in a post office outlet. And they're used a lot every day. They are nice and strong and easy to use. Would recommend to everyone.

Just flimsy. Bought a tape gun instead
