Perfect for the physics classroom and science shows
I am a physics teacher. Bought this to use in class. Vastly more powerful than my old flourescent light black light that I needed to walk around to each student for the effect to be visible. This works the entire 10m across the room and is much more effective in demonstrating fluorescence is the production of a new colour, not a reflection from a nearby light source The manufacture is very solid, including the switch, which is the most important part. Its size is also helpful, I can't misplace it, and it stands up to it won't roll off the bench when I set it down. I'm going to fit a rubber ring around the head against accidental drops which are a 100% certainty in a class environment. I'm really happy with this.

works as intended
it does the job. I've never really used much in the way of black lighting before so not sure if it's inherent to their use, but it didn't light up as I had hoped for when we were scanning for spots the cat had sprayed.

Five Stars
great product. worth the purchase. if you can make it a rechargeable one it will be a great product. buying lot of batteries is not economical and not an ecological one so think about it. Thanks Suri

Treatment of cancer
This light has a built-in 2 ohm resistor to limit the current to safe levels. The 6 batteries supply 9 volts. I purchased it to remove the 70 mm applicator for the surface treatment of skin and breast cancers, as discovered by Dr Popp, which can be treated ideally with 380 nm wavelength. I found that with 7 volts applied, the current was 320 milliamperes and the LEDs very bright. I did not want to push the current further for fear of burning out the LEDs. In my medical application I will be pulsing the diodes at a wide range of frequencies using a power FET switch, with a supply of 12 volts and a bigger limiting resistor. Let me know at biophysica if I can be of help.

TROP GROSSE
LAMPE QUI SEMBLE FONCTIONNÉ MAIS TRÈS GROSSE À TRANSPORTER, JE NE LA PENSE PAS TRÈS PRATIQUE EN VOYAGE DÛ À CE FACTEUR...
