Bought these to use with action cameras on the 'bike. Basically I wanted to run cables to the camera from a power bank to avoid stops to change batteries in the cameras. Ideally I didn't want cables sticking out from the cameras, and inevitably the various cameras have different orientations of their USB ports. Using these lets me use my existing 'straight' cables rather than shelling out for yet more dedicated cables. As usual with Cable Matters kit the build quality is good, the fit is reassuringly firm and the adapters aren't overly bulky. So far everything's working nicely. Happy to have found/purchased these.

I had a cable that kept dangling down over my monitor. Not any more! Really solid product. Plug and play, charges pretty fast, great value for money.

Using these on a mobile hotspot router in a motorhome, the USB-C cable was routed such that it was putting pressure on the connection, the 90deg adapter means that the cable is now sat properly and also doesn't affect the charging rate. Nice quality feel to them and work as expected. They also look nice and are the perfect size to tidy your cable routes.

Update: Not so fine for charging. Using it in the car with a charge only cable for the phone it seems to keep reconnecting which throws a message on the screen each time - annoying when navigating. Using the cable direct is fine. Thought it was faulty, so bought a different make but that is the same. I can only think that using a data and charge interface with a non-data cable is messing with the phone's USB. (Samsung phone) But it seems fine with my other half's Samsung tablet.

Quite dinky but solidly made. I opted for this USB-C adaptor based on the reviews and also its power rating. I use the USB-C port on my laptop with an HP multimonitor display adaptor which supports 2 x 4K displays. The adaptor also charges the laptop, so I didn't want any overheating issues. This seemed to be an issue with some of the alternatives. I can't vouch for the transfer rates but I've encountered no issues so far. My (physical) desk top is now much tidier, with a much lower risk of dislodging the USB-C cable and seeing the displays go bonkers...

These work great and allow you to minimize cable bump outs on your connected devices like a spare monitor, tablet, or phone. Does not slow down data transfer.

Each adapter weights only 4g. These things work great, as advertised. I use it to connect a 10 Gbps external SSD, works without a problem. I also use these to connect an external USB-C portable monitor, and it also works without a single problem. In fact, I use these adapters on both ends of the cable - one adapter in my monitor, the other adapter in my laptop, and the cable is in-between the adapters. It still works fine. I love this product is made by a reputable brand so I don't really have to worry about anything going wrong, despite the fact these kind of adapters are not allowed by the USB-C standard.

Funciona bien con dispositivos que no sean muy demandantes, por ejemplo, teclado, mouse, etc. Pero si necesitas conectar un dispositivo que requiera transferir muchos datos, se desconectará constantemente. No se calentó e igualmente se desconectaba.
