Foldable and comfy
Great pillow. Very comfy and not too too flat. Soft and foldable.

Thin but not too thin
Searched for many years with many unsuccessful attempts and replacing my old once amazing pillow. I think this one is as good as it gets. Only wish it was a little more firm, but the low stuffing count keeps it thin so my neck doesn’t get soar, and not too hard like a memory foam or gel pillow. Awesome if you are a side sleeper or stomach sleeper and want a thin pillow

Nice pillow!
The reviews & descriptions are correct - it is quite flat. But some of us like that! It also made a fair bit of “crinkling” noise at first, but after 4 nights, that seems to have gone away. Pricey, but a very nice pillow!

Downlite 13 oz. low fill 75% DUCK DOWN pillow
After much research, I am very pleased to say I rec'vd the queen/standard duck down filled pillow today that I ordered last week on account of my 20+ year old down pillows "accidentally" being thrown in trash by housekeepers hired whilst I was briefly hospitalized. I know 20+ year old pillows probably should have been thrown in the trash, but I was sooo upset about it. I had cared well for them, rotated shifts, kept clean and protected. They were a housewarming gift 24 years ago, and they had no labels and I think they were used more for staging and decor because they were smaller than a standard pillow and were inserted into standard sized velvet pillow cases that were too big for them. But what I did know, is that they were probably at least 75ish% down because of the way they felt, and when having to sew up an occasional small rip following a machine wash and dry, I'd gently poked around inside the casing and taken a good look. So, once home from hospital and still sick and injured, I'd had to use various pillows I'd bought or been gifted over the years. And there were a lot. I felt like Goldilocks. They were too hard, too soft, too big, not big enough, yada yada, and I was feeling defeated knowing I had to yet again procure myself a pillow that worked for me. So, I did my research, hours of it, and lots of Reddit, and I skeptically purchased this Downlite pillow. When it arrived in it's double layered boxing, I removed from it's plastic and unrolled. Yes, unrolled. That was a good sign for me, if it meant what I thought it did. I was getting excited. I gave it a good once once over, saw that it was perfect, put a protector on it and threw it in the dryer for a few minutes to "fluff up", and I can not express how so dang happy I am about this pillow. It's ridiculous, I know. It's just a pillow. But I have had a lot of pillows over the years that caused neck pain, back pain, and even hurt my ears and face. I've had many, many uncomfortable, sleepless nites as a result. And I just couldn't find a replacement for the one's I was gifted when 1st moving in the house a quarter century ago . I've had cheap ones, expensive ones, thin ones and puffy ones, ergonomic, hypoallergenic, and homeopathic, down filled, feather filled, feather and down filled, wool filled, gel filled, and yada, yada, yada. Turns out, I just needed 13oz. of sterilized duck down at a ratio of at least 75% down, encased in a standard/queen sized 500TC pillow case at a 500-550 fill rate. Nothin fancy, though it sounds it. I like the kind of pillows that can be mushed into any shape and be half cuddled and half under my head. Squashed down to a few inches of dreamy, pillowy goodness. Most people would think with that low a loft I shouldn't bother with a pillow at all. But they'd be wrong, it definitely serves a purpose. I am on Cloud 9!!

Pros and cons
The eider down pillow was exactly what I wanted in terms ofsoftness and weight. However, the covering was very stiff and actually crackled when the pillow was used. The pillow also seems to activate an allergic coughingreaction when I use it. I’m going to wash it to see if this might ameliorate my issues with this pillow.

Great Quality, and just as advertized
I have had shoulder surgery recently, and have experienced pain in my neck while sleeping as a result. I needed a “thinner” pillow to provide me with the flexibility of support. The pillow arrived in a plastic bag, in a factory box, and another box. While it was well protected, that’s a lot of packaging! I removed the pillow and popped it into my dryer on “air dry” for about 5 minutes, to fluff it. It fluffed up nicely! I wanted an all down (no feathers included) pillow, because the down is easier to mold to the shape needed, and there are no “pins” from feathers to poke at you. This pillow has just the right amount of down, a very high quality cover, and is easily shaped to my preference. I’ve now slept several nights on this pillow, and I am not waking with neck pain. While the price of this pillow is pretty steep (I mean, come on, Down Light. This same pillow was much less expensive not too long ago), I can recommend it for its performance and quality. As a note to purchaser: do be sure to purchase a proper allergy reducing zippered enclosure for your new Down Light pillow, not because of allergy issues with the down, but to protect this nice pillow from sweat, dust mites, the skin we all shed in bed, etc. Because that’s just gross. This is a great pillow if you are looking for a moldable, quality down pillow. Ideal for side and tummy sleepers, and folks with neck difficulties.
