Dueter makes an excellent product! Durable and high quality. This is great for small children or lights loads, but not large enough for a single night backpacking trip for my 8 year old.

My 7 & 5 yr old have reached the age where they’re big enough to carry their own stuff. These are great travel bags for them. Easy enough for them to open, good quality shoulder straps, space for water bottles, and enough room on the inside for small ipad, some toys and books without being too cumbersome. A little pricey, but worth the money if you travel a lot.

These worked very well for my kids, good size, I was impressed with the quality of the parts and the material and that it was put together quite well. Bought it for my 3 year old and 4 year old and it fit them good

This is an excellent backpack for a young kid. It is extremely well built and represents the Deuter brand well. It has a well thought out design that makes it useful on the trail. I go back and forth on wishing it had a waist belt. My kid does not carry enough weight to really need it but on the other hand it would be nice to teach him how to wear a real pack. Overall, I strongly recommend.

Really was impressed with this. Wanted to take my almost 4yo and my 5yo on a backpacking trip and got these packs. They fit all their gear, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, clothes, food and water in it great! Just wish it had hip strap to help stabilize it better

This backpack is REI quality for sure. It's a perfect size for my six year old Cub Scout! There is a great amount of space for his needs for a day hike or overnight stay. My only tif is that the loop to hang the backpack on a hook is a little weak looking. My kids always hang their backpacks up & that may not hold up over time. The rest seems really durable.

Excellent for a 4 year old. Comfortable and carries what he needs to nature school.
