They work for me , I have a lot of pain around my knees and recovering from an injury . It holds it all together stops my pain from becoming worse. Comfortable for bed time or any time of the day . My job is very physical and for me it works . I’ve not had any wear or tear of fabric I’ve worn these for the past month . It is worth the money I payed for it

Disclaimer: I’m not a sports physiotherapist, so this review is based purely on personal experience. I typically run 5K three times a week on a treadmill with variable incline, as part of a broader workout routine. About two weeks ago, I developed a mild ache in my left knee—not enough to stop me running, but enough to raise concern. I wanted to address it early before it worsened. When choosing a knee support, it's important to strike a balance between two opposing properties: support and flexibility - the Neo-G does this well as my running pace is not restricted. Fitting is straightforward, following the instructions for a supportive but flexible fit. Following 2 weeks of running as usual with the support, the discomfort has virtually disappeared, but I will continue with the support for a while. One small bonus: I specifically chose this model because of the closed kneecap design—I run in shorts, and the open-kneecap look just isn’t for me. That’s purely a personal aesthetic choice! Would I recommend it? Yes—but with the caveat that it’s best suited for mild to moderate issues. If you're dealing with anything more serious, it’s wise to seek professional advice.

I purchased this to replace the same support which I wore out. I have osteoarthritis in one knee and this device helps by keeping the joint warm under the neoprene. Obviously an aid such as this cannot treat the root cause of the disease, but it certainly does give some physical relief and, I suppose, some psychological benefits. I have given it just three stars, however, because this particular replacement unit has a type of velcro that is far too strong and very annoying. Already, after just a few months, the surface of the support is being damaged by the severe (and I mean severe) ripping action of removing the tabs. This is strange because it was not an issue with my previous item, which was very secure yet easier to take off. This might be due to batch variation, so I would still recommend trying the product.

These supports are for the bigger knee/ thigh up to 55 cms. Very effective

I've never needed to purchase anything like this before, but having partially torn the lateral collateral ligament in my left knee (the ligament that stops your knee bending outwards) and experiencing some soreness, I bought this based on the previous reviews here. I must say that it has lived up to the reviews as it has provided support to my injured knee and allowed me to walk around with a lot less discomfort than previously. There are three fully adjustable Velcro straps, which would make this suitable for pretty much anyone with a knee problem. The material is fairly soft and non-abrasive so I've even been forgetting I was even wearing a knee support. I'm very pleased with this and would certainly recommend it if you're unfortunate enough to suffer knee problems. I have used these knee supports to overcome chronic knee pain that I experienced when using a static exercise bike. I have found that the most important thing is to make sure the centre strap is tight. The upper and lower straps only need to be secured enought to make sure that the support doesn't move. pros: They have solved the problem and I can now cycle without any resulting knee pain. cons: They are itchy and I need to wear them over trousers. If these knee supports had been provided with a non-irritating lining I would have given them five stars as they certainly solved the knee pain issue. Update: I have now used two of these knee straps on a daily basis for approximately 6 months, and they have continued to prevent knee pain. Unfortunately the fabric has become fluffy as a result of undoing the strap over and over again and as a result the strap no longer grips securely. So it looks as though the support will last for around 200 uses. However, it can be fixed. All you need to do is to stick two six inch strips of 1.5mm double sided Velcro, across the fluffy area of the support for each strap, which then provides a fresh surface for the strap to adhere to. Hence for around £2-3 (you can get this double sided Velcro, also called cable wrap on eBay) they are like new again, and should last for ages, simply by replacing the Velcro when it gets tired.
