Activate 2 Student Book

This book is really useful for supporting my daughter in year 8. We have the workbook that goes with it really well.

Good

This book (and the other two books in the series) are all you will need to help your child do well in Key Stage 3. There are 183 pages of subject content with summary questions and end of chapter questions. Unfortunately the answers are not in the back of the book, so you cannot tell if your child has answered the questions correctly, unless you know the answers yourself. Overall a great book but the answers should be included (or available in a separate book). Not all schools give textbooks out to take home so it's really useful to have home copies to help with homework.

Easily readable and understandable for year 8 students. The paper is of good quality and the pages are colourful with interesting "fantastic fact" . It has summary questions at the end of each topic. Highly recommend this book along with Activate 1. Activate 1 is for Year 7 Activate 2 for Year 8

I used it for my science class this year and it really helped me. It told me a lot of things that I hadn't learnt during some classes, so when the end of year test came up I got a really good score!

As exams are coming up, revision is ESSENTIAL. So this book does the job! A lot of topics are in the exam and this book covers all of them! My school has these books but as there are only a few, I decided to get one myself to get a better experience of studying. This book is brilliant!-has all the information you need, and also not TOO wordy, it’s easy to understand as well! Might be getting the activate 1 student book, as this has excellent results!

Love the layout very good for year 8

Really great book for understanding and helping ks3 students. Have used in line with my sons normal studies and this has shown a great increase in his exam marks
