Ballistol Multi-Purpose Lube Cleaner Protectant 4 Ounce w/Drip Bottle

This product is very good for a multi purpose oil and lubricant works great on just about anything I've needed to oil and it also is a good protectant against rust. This is a little on the pricey side but does work well on my rifles and outdoor equipment... THANKS..

This stuff works very well on firearms. It cleans lubricated and protects. Makes short work of cleaning and lubricating after a day at the range. Spray down the barrel, let it soak for a few minutes swab it out, you’re done with that, spray on the upper and lower then brush it off, you now have a clean lubricated and protected firearm…use all safety measures when cleaning a firearm. The ONLY issue I have is this stuff smells like a dirty butt and smelly feet combined…I kid you not. I have to use it outdoors on the open patio and still get gagged a little. But because it’s perfect I will continue to use it. There were a few reviews that said it smelled good….. ummm I guess they like the smell of dirty butt…lol. Not me, it stinks.

If you are someone who has need for light lubricants for things like guns, bikes, guitars, etc., you probably know the Ballistol name. I find the smell of it irritating, but I'm willing to tolerate it. Great stuff. Never gums up, shines up wood and metal very nicely. The needle oiler is VERY handy for putting a tiny drop just where you need it.

Great for everything that needs lubing or cleaning. Firearms, knives, kids scooters, rusty nuts, your squeaky gate, etc. It also works wonders on beat up and dirty knife scales. I have a loose pocket carried knife with G10 scales that also shares a pocket with keys. After putting a few drops of this on each scale and rubbing it in, the lighter scratches disappeared and the color popped back to life. I haven't used it for this purpose before and may have to reapply it, but it looks great for now.

This lubricant has become my new favorite for rifle maintenance. I've been using this product for over a year now and I'm very happy with its performance so far. This particular purchase was primarily to replace one of my aerosol cans I used up, and to get the "Drip Bottle" for use at the range if needed. The bottle is small enough to pack in my range bag outer pocket but large enough to carry enough oil for emergencies. The only drawback to the bottle is the size of the opening when you take the cap off. It's pretty small and you have to have the right size funnel to fill it. The oil can itself is only 4 Ounces so don't expect it to last for very long, but if you're using this the way I am, it should get you through several range visits. Great product overall.

Ballistol is unique in that the longer you use it the amount you need to do the job decreases. After having this for all my guns needs over many years it is the only cleaner, lubricant and protector I use. Besides, the versatility allows me to clean and maintain any leather goods used is support of my firearms. Excellent product.

This is the right stuff to have for the air rifles, pellet guns on steroids they’re not for kids you need this type of oil to clean or do anything with these pellet guns So you don’t do anything wrong the petroleum jelly will blow up one of these pellet guns too much air. He must have the right thing. This is what you need. Thank you again.
