Description is accurate!
The measurements are true. Just remember that they include a rim which is approximately. 3/4" wide. Therefore, serving area is smaller than the total of the listed measurements. I bought the 14"x8" which held a light lunch and mug just fine. Beautiful grain and color. Light weight yet durable.
