I had a PS2 at 14yo and rarely had time to play it during school, now at 34yo I bought myself the PS5 and still don’t have time during work (even though I’m self-employed working from home). I bought it because I tend to drive a lot in my spare time and I need to reduce the wear and tear, now I can have fun free roaming on GTA 5 haha! My dad says the PS5 is for kids but I beg to differ, there’s no age limit when it comes to enjoying life and reminiscing your childhood is nostalgic as heck. I feel like a 14yo again but with a good job and family responsibilities. My favourite games so far; Lawnmower Simulator, Construction Simulator, Gran Turismo 7, EA FC 24, GTA 5 and many more. I’m not into shooting games even though GTA 5 has capabilities, I prefer to punch and kick when necessary, there’s the odd shooting in missions. Can’t wait for the Logistics Transport Simulator game coming out next week. The PS5 controller runs for about 6-8 hours. Time will literally fly when you’re playing any game. I started playing at 1pm yesterday and then noticed the time being 9pm, forgot to eat lunch and dinner. So, you need to control yourself and set limits. I’ve locked away the console in a cabinet and set a weekly schedule for when I have time to play.

This was a gift to myself and the amazon monthly payment option really helped. I gave the game to my brother who's a big footy fan and I found transferring from my original ps4 to this very easy. I was and still am really happy with this purchase.

Couldn't be happier with my bargain....was going to buy secondhsnd from CEx, for £400...then noticed this time limited deal, a brand new console WITH a game too for only £9 more!!! I moved from a digital only Xbox series S, which was too limiting with its lack of storage, so had to gave the option of physical disc too, which this PS5 has got. I've always been a playstation fan, and never really quite gelled with the Microsoft offering, so it's good to be back with the playstation. Easy to set up, and I already had my old PlayStation account I could re-use, so I was up and running in no time. This package doesn't come with a physical copy of FIFA, it's a code which you redeem in the PS shop l, that allows you to download it, along with an add-on dlc for free. Love oking forward to getting stuck into some gaming now 😊. Highly recommended!

Good machine very high spec, although haven't yet found anything to push it. I recently played on PS4 again, and the difference is more noticeable when you play the same game on both consoles. Just my opinion, but it is also quite obtrusive, a large machine in white with lights that you can't turn off make it a bit of an eyesore, it is chic in design, but when most equipment in that area of the room is black and angular, a curved white machine looks a bit out of place. I bought the standard edition as I use it to watch films on, and had expected the game that came with it to be on disc, but was digital. It's currently the best price I have seen it at just over £400 and I would say good value overall.

No issues, well packaged. Smooth plays

It all worked well in the beginning but we also never used it much. As soon as we started playing longer as my daughter abit older, the console keeps going into rest mode or basically switches off during games. It has prevented my family from enjoying long playing sessions
