Just what I was looking for!
These are perfect for daily use. I love the green sage color and the way the framing adds some dimension to the placemats. The placemats are plastic and they grip well on the formica top on our dining room table. I particularly like how easy these are to clean with a damp cloth and a quick swipe. I already had some of these from a retail store purchase a couple years ago, and I was delighted to find the exact same color and style here at Amazon.

Love my placemats. I ordered the green which is a safe color and it goes great with my kitchen curtains. Easy to clean and compliments the kitchen table!

Easy to Clean
Color is as expected, and they are very easy to wipe or rinse. The cut on the edges is a little rough, but not visibly so. It catches on some fabrics.

The mats do not look or smell "plastic"
Even though the mats ship rolled up, I laid them flat under a braided table runner (it has a bit of weight to it) and after 24 hours they were as flat as the table top. They fool the eye and look like they are fabric. I can't comment on heat-resistant as the warmest thing to come in contact with them is a "pre-loaded" dinner plate. Do not expect them to serve as a trivet or a place to rest anything out of the oven or off the stove top. PVC composition... not approved for HOT items.

Does the job, exactly what I needed.
Simple look and design, perfect for my hardwood table. Needed something without ink and something that wouldn't stick to the wood due to any moisture. Highly recommended for this price; it's worth it!
