Q: I want to be able to use this for normal abs and pla filaments, will that be a problem? i want to print with wood, bronzefill, laybrick etc. problems?

The beauty of this extruder kit is the ability to adjust the tension between the feed roller and the material being fed through. You will have no problems with regular ABS, PLA, PETG, nylon, etc. in addition to soft materials like Ninjaflex. You will need to adjust the tension each time you switch between hard and soft materials but that is trivial. I have used wood, bronze, copper, magnetic and conductive filaments with no problems. I really love this extruder and couldn’t be happier. Wish the printer would have come with this out of the box.

Q: Are the stepper motors included?

They are not. You will need to use the steppers, fans, and thermal hardware that normally come with your printer.

Q: I have a power spec ultra 3d printer. the extruder set up that came with it and the replacement from flashforge are not compatible. is this one?

We have many customers that have installed this Flexion kit on a PowerSpec Ultra, and none of them mentioned any difficulty with the installation.

Q: Can this be used with the Microswiss hot end? That is, just replacing the extruder, hot the mounting bar and hot end?

No, the hotend is critical to the function of this extruder. If you want to use the stock extruder and hotend on one side, find the Right Side Only kit, also on Amazon.
