Ringke Onyx Compatible with Google Pixel 8 Case, Enhanced Grip Tough Flexible TPU Shockproof Rugged Bumper Cover for Pixel 8 (2023) - Black

I purchased a Pixel 10 Pro about a month ago and went all in on Ringke products to protect my phone. I purchased this case, their screen protector, and the camera lens protector. At the time of writing, I've been using the Magnetic Ringke Onyx for just over a month. Size: The case fits my Pixel 10 Pro like a glove. Every corner and edge (including the camera bump) feels flush. Ease of use: The sides are soft but not too soft, meaning it's easy to put on or take off when needed, but not too malleable that I'd worry it may come off unintentionally. Magnets: I got the magnetic variant, which means the case has an array of magnets compatible with MagSafe/PixelSnap accessories and Qi2 wireless chargers. I've not noticed any charging performance loss while wireless charging with the case compared to without the case, but the phone will naturally retain a bit more heat while wireless charging as it'll be harder to dissipate the heat generated while charging with a case on. This is by no means a deal-breaker as the only way to avoid this is to make the case made out of metal. The magnetic strength seems to be on par with the careless Pixel 10 Pro (which has quite a strong magnetic pull). Physically attributes: The top, bottom, and corners are all raised, while the sides have a lower, flat edge, which makes it really easy to do gestures such as the back action. The sides have textured dots which serve to both provide grip and textile feedback when holding the phone. There are holes for lanyards on either side of the case. I've not used them so cannot attest to their durability. Unlike most cases for Pixel phones, this one actually covers the metal part of the camera bump, which provides that extra bit of protection. The back is textured; when the case was new, the bumps felt quite prominent. However, after a month, the texture is more like that of faux leather. Not quite the same, but similar. The only gripe I have with the case is that the volume and power buttons don't have any texture. While this is very aesthetic, it means it's hard to distinguish between them without looking at the device. In conclusion, the quality of the materials seems good, and the fit is spot on. I'm quite content with my purchase and would recommend Ringke cases to friends in the future as they are quite good value for money due to being both cheaper and better than a lot of known brands.

Easily one of the best phone cases I have ever owned. So worth the money and such a good investment. What a durable brilliant case. Feels good on the hand and is great protection. Easy to install and is very securely placed and buttons work great no issues ever.

Really premium feeling case, fit is perfect, phone feels perfectly protected in this case, magsafe magnets work well, maybe slightly weaker than a quad lock case I had but enough power to hold the phone whilst shaking with a magsafe wallet, cutouts are accurate and button pushes are a nice tactile feel. Had the standard case on a pixel 7 before, was good then and is good on the pixel 10.

I've always favoured a "folio" or wallet case in the past but I've moved away from keeping cards with phones so I've got one of those as a spare (never had a problem with my phones when I've dropped them in one of those but they are bulky) to a Ringke Onyx Magnetic. Good points: The Ringke has been a very pleasant surprise. Far better in terms of ergodynamics than the Spigen Tough Armour I've got on my Pixel 3a. In the hand the Ringke feels great. Grip is excellent so it feels secure and never slippy. The Ringke has like ridges on the surface which for me are the perfect compromise between feeling too raised and giving excellent grip. I've obviously not dropped tested it but it feels solid. All the buttons and holes are spot on and my phone fits snuggly in the case but not too tight that it's impossible to take the phone out of the case. I really like the "extra" protection you get with this case around the camera "bump". And a nice extra are the security holes on both bottom corners so you can attach a lanyard for security should you choose on either side. Downside: The only downside is the raised top and bottom lip which is obviously done for protection purposes but can sometimes interfer with my ability to use the swipe actions on the screen from the bottom edge of the screen which is why it drops a star. But then, that's a trade off. Protection or ease of use. Perhaps they could taper the "ridge" so that it reduces as you move to the centre bottom of the phone and then raises up again as you approach the corner but that's a small quibble. Conclusion: If you could give half a star I'd definelty give the Ringke Onyx 4.5 / 5. A make I'll be considering again if I ever need a new case for a phone.

Lovely case which, despite giving great protection to the phone, also manages to maintain a slim profile and feels great in the hand. This case has amazing grip and has totally fixed my face drop issues when using my phone in a reclined posture (my last case was super slippy). Great case for a decent price as expected of Ringke.

This is a nice case but I find the plastic too hard, and I prefer a similar case I've ordered from Caseology. Pros + Covers well the sides of the phone + Good protection of the cameras + Not too thick + Good value for money + Seems sturdy + Provides good grip + Cutouts are all aligned properly + No fingerprints Cons - Too "plasticky" (I would prefer a softer material) - Middle of the screen less protected (the sides don't protrude as much in the middle) - Sharp edges at the back and around camera bump I can imagine some people will love this case, but I unfortunately didn't enjoy the hard plastic feel.

Nice, anti-slip, solid, dark green phone case. Should protect my phone which is what I want it to do.

J’ai testé la coque Ringke compatible avec le Google Pixel 9, et franchement, c’est un excellent choix si tu veux allier protection fiable et look soigné. La coque est bien finie, les matériaux sont de qualité et elle s’ajuste parfaitement au téléphone — pas de jeu, rien qui bouge. Le design est sobre mais moderne, tout en laissant visible la beauté du Pixel 9. Les boutons restent réactifs et faciles à presser, et les découpes sont parfaitement alignées avec les ports et les capteurs. La protection contre les chutes et rayures est vraiment rassurante, surtout au quotidien. Sturdy case, looks good and is grippy. Also, I like the height of the protective ridges at the top and bottom, which are flat on the sides of the phone.
