Second time ordering they arrived healthy and happy!
UPDATE 8/28/24 - I purchased from this seller a second time because the price is great for having live fish shipped and even with USPS taking more than double the time to deliver than it should have (6 days) they all 3 arrived alive, healthy, and active. The customer service was also amazing this time around! I will definitely be ordering more from this seller. 5/21/24 - I was not as lucky as many of you and am quite disappointed, two of the three sent did not make it and the 3rd one died shortly after I received them. Although they look bigger in the bag that is purely just the bag and the way it lays making them look larger, like others have stated these little fish are SO teeny tiny and that may have something to do with them not making it. The seller never responded to my request to have them replaced but Amazon did provide a refund.

Wonderful Otos
Love this seller...never diaspoints! 3 live and well oto cats. All 3 look to be the same species otocinclus macrospilus from my guess. I love the care used in the packaging for all shipments... can't get this with most online sellers. Would buy again!

Enjoying the Oto catfish
Great. Otos doing well, but lost 1 in the first week. That’s typical for Oto’s as they are fragile fish, but do great in a heavily planted tank.

Swimming Creatures does not care about the animals
Do not do business with this company. They use unreliable shipping services who cannot use simple maps to find the correct address. And the companies solution is to send another shipment or refund the order so they are perfectly happy killing the animals to get a good review. Swimming Creatures needs to change their shipping methods and standards of care to the animals they are selling

Survivability trouble.
Unfortunately I received one that was DOA. Seller was quick to refund. That process was rather hassle free. 2nd did not last long into acclimatization. He passed shortly after being placed into a secondary container to start the process. 3 survived a couple days and looked to going strong. However was not gaining weight and passed this morning. Not all to blame on seller. Will work with local stores moving forward to avoid needless death though.

Alive & Well
The ottos arrived alive and healthy and are now happily munching on algae. Getting them from Amazon was much easier than trying to find them locally.

2 out of 3 survived.
I read that most otocinclus catfish are wild caught and are very sensitive to shipping conditions and water parameters. I might purchase this species again, but I want a more mature tank. Not necessarily a good beginner algae eater.
