Moss Destroyer 9000
This thing is a beast. Spent nearly a full weekend this season cleaning up my lawn and found this to be a VERY effective tool. Simple assembly with no nonsense threading. The hardest part is picking an angle for the head you want to work with, but adjustments are pretty painless with the provided tools. It's heavy enough to be effective, sturdy, and stable, but not so heavy that you feel like you're fighting the rake. It's easy to maneuver and manipulate, but your experience will vary depending on the head angle you choose to work with. The most aggravating part of working with this rake is manually cleaning the tines. If you've got a thick mess to clean, you will be very hands on to clean it out of the rake. I live in the PNW and my lawn gets heavy shade from surrounding pines (especially in winter). You'll have to look at the pics, but I filled a huge yard waste bin two weeks in a row with dead moss and debris.

Very good tool for the price. And is lightweight for less fatigue lugging it around the yad
Works well. I advise putting a drop of superglue on each of the bar joints because as your working it.back and forth they tend to come loose. But the tool as a whole works absolutely especially after I shifted the angle one is good for digging it out and the other just skims the top when collecting the thatch removed to the bag or wheelbarrow. Been working the heck out of it for like a week. Iโve already addressed the few deficiencies. Itโs a wonderful tool and is priced better than any others. Works like a $59 one after I superglues the screw points in the handle and it weights about 10 pounds less as well reducing fatigue from having to lug it around. Ok that is the most complete review I have ever give. But I think everyone should leave reviews after purchase to let others know what theyโre buying. I know I review the 12โ&3 stars ones first so Iโm setting it at a 4 star just so I wonโt be bunched in with all the 5s ya know. I like the tool it works!

Handle is cheap
The handle os cheap and broke in the first 20 min of using it bit it did work good so im hoping I can just replace the garbage handle . Stuff on Amazon realy needs to come with solid one piece handles they ship plenty of small things in big boxes but we get rip-off with handles on rakes and stuff . Very upsetting you can't find one with a one piece handle

Well made, but there is a weak link
The weak link of this rake is the connection of the handle. Yes, they design the rake so that the handle can be attached or removed for storage or adjusting the length to suit the individual. However, as well made as this rake is, the connectors are inserted with plastic thread on the male and female anchors. This poses a weak link that inevitably will loosen and the threads will come loose. This happened me on the first usage and the thread broke, rendering the entire tool unusable. This is a pity because other than this problem, it is very well made, but then this problem will very likely happen due to the force imposed on the handle while using it.

Great product
I love this thing. Really helps keep my grass healthy. Thereโs a small learning curve to make sure you do it correctly but once you get the hang of it, itโs great.

thoroughly impressed with this thatch rake
This thatch rake is good quality and well made. I was worried that the long handle may be weak and bend or loosen often since it is 3 pieces that screw together but it appears to be very strong and durable. The blades and arms of the business end are thick. The supplied nuts and bolts are very good quality and assembly was very easy. Some things made in China are very good quality and this is one of them. If the long handle ever wears out, it can be replaced with a wood handle with the right tools. If you've used a thatch rake before, then you know the good it does for any lawn that needs dethatching. I think it's probably the best thing you can do for any lawn besides fertilization and aeration. You also know what a workout it can be with big and thick lawns. It will pull up embedded thatch you didn't even know you had and encourage new growth. I'm going to dethatch, then overseed and fertiize, and water in. The lawn will look great in just a few weeks when the new seed germinates and grows in. I have Bermuda grass and the landscapers keep it cut short and don't bag the clippings so I have a lot of thatch and clippings every year. This rake will take care of all of it and I will only need to use it once a year. It's design is a lot more effective than a bow rake or leaf rake for lifting thatch and debris from your lawn which can choke out your exisitng grass.

Not worth your money
I had high hopes for this thatching rake when I first ordered it. It looked sturdy in the product photos, had a good number of positive reviews, and I liked the idea of the stainless steel handle and a nice wide rake head for faster yard work. Unfortunately, the reality of using this rake has been extremely disappointing, to the point where I stopped halfway through the job and genuinely considered throwing it away. The biggest problem? The shaft is made up of three separate sections that screw together, and those joints constantly come loose during use. After just a few swings, the whole handle starts wobbling. Iโve tried tightening it again and again, but after a few minutes of raking, itโs back to being unstable and practically unusable. It doesnโt matter how tightly you screw it togetherโthis tool simply wasnโt designed to stay secure during actual yard work. This design flaw is baffling. When Iโm raking, I shouldnโt have to stop every two minutes to re-tighten the handle. It completely kills productivity and turns a simple job into an aggravating mess. The tines themselves seem decent, and the rake can pull up thatch and loosen soil when itโs stable, but that moment is short-lived. Whatโs even more frustrating is that a lot of the reviews I read before purchasing seem to be Vine reviewsโmeaning those reviewers received the product for free. I, on the other hand, paid full price with my own money, and I feel like I got ripped off. I canโt help but wonder if the flood of glowing reviews are from people who didnโt have to spend a dime, because from my experience, this product is absolutely not worth your money. I really wanted to like this rake, but the poor ergonomic design, constant loosening of the shaft, and overall lack of stability make it a hard no for me. If the handle had been a single, solid pieceโor even if the joints locked properlyโit could have been great. But in its current form, this rake is more trouble than itโs worth.

Solid construction, good results
The length and thickness of the metal is very high quality. Feels very sturdy and makes your feel powerful. I like that both ends of the rake head have different angles and severities, so you can start on the easy side to get the first half of thatch then you flip it over and get the rest of the harder stuff. If you go hard right away then it takes out way too much and itโs difficult. Even a patch of lawn that looked like it had Zero thatch made a ton using this rake.

First impression: solid build, easy to assemble, does the job
The item feels very solid and well-built, made from thick metal that gives it a sturdy, durable feel. Itโs on the heavier side, but that adds to the sense that it will last for years without issue. Assembly only took a few minutes, and I was able to put it to use right away on our dormant backyard lawn. The tool works well and does exactly what itโs supposed to, though it is fairly physically demanding to use.

Works Effectively
I purchased this thatching rake to remove algae before reseeding an old lawn with grass seed. Compared to similar but lighter models with wooden handles and thinner gauge adjustment brackets, this tool was significantly more effective. Its heavier weight from the heavier gauge metal adjusting brackets made it easier to dig into the algae without needing to apply excessive downward pressure, which was a problem with the lighter rakes. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the screw-together metal tube handle. While it may reduce packaging and shipping costs, it introduces unnecessary complexity. The screw joints are prone to loosen while in use, which could affect working efficiency. I ended up gluing the screw joins together. For a garden tool that most people would prefer to leave assembled and ready to use, a solid single-piece handle would be more practical.
