my stock one was broke and i really love the lower cup holder in the ram trucks, was well worth the money to fix my old one, plastic feels good and strong, been a few month since install and had no issues. would recommend to any 2nd gen ram owner.

After reading reviews I decided to give this a try instead of replacing the complete cup holder. This was an easy fix. I followed advise from a fellow reviewer and decided to use a hacksaw to cut through both ends of the old hinge where it snapped on. Which made the old one easy to get off. I could not get the old one to pop off without doing this. I then was able to snap the new one on.

Wont close into dash now. Maybe an inch

Works as expected. Fit well happy with it so far and will update if it fails. But seams better than the OEM f@$#ing junk that came with the truck. DONT BUY RAM OR DODGE products. JUNK!

Pay attention how it fits. My old hinge could have been reused but i noted it was flimsey. This may not fix your entire cupholder, but short of a full replacement, it adds stability. Priced a hair high since the entire assembley can be found for less than $45 or $50 bucks.
