Drum (55 Gallons) First StrikeTM 3%-3% ATC/AFFF (Alcohol Type Concentrate/Aqueous Film-Forming Foam) is a versatile, synthetic alcohol-resistant firefighting foam concentrate for protection of a wide range of Class B flammable liquid hazards. It is designed for protection of water-soluble polar solvents, as well as water-insoluble hydrocarbon flammable liquids. When correctly proportioned with water and applied with conventional foam-generating equipment, First StrikeTM 3%-3% ATC/AFFF provides excellent extinguishment and securing abilities by spreading a vapor-suppressing film over hydrocarbon liquid fuels and a polymeric membrane on polar solvent fuels. The vapor-blanketing foam inhibits reflash even when the foam blanket is ruptured, and also allows the product to be used to secure non-ignited spills.
