My phone almost exploded! For some unknown reason, the battery that was original to my Samsung S22 became swollen and caused my phone to fail. I didn't have extra money to take it to a repair shop or to get a new one so I figured I had little to lose trying to replace the battery myself. After watching a few videos, I was able to replace the battery on my own. Once it was installed and I was able to get a full charge on it (it came charged about 60%) I was happy to learn that it held the charge much longer than the old one I had, it lasted nearly two days before I had to charge it again! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the battery does get hot, hotter than the original just from normal use. So be mindful of that, the last thing anyone wants is an exploding cell phone!

This item was great! It was the wrong 'flex cord' though. I ordered right. I just got the wrong battery sent. I returned it w/o issue and will reorder correct item.

Literally just completed this repair. Because of that, I can't speak to the quality of the replacement battery yet, but most people looking for reviews will mainly be wondering if the kit works, and if it's doable. In short yes, but the instructions really need to be better, especially when the instructions are a selling point. But this is a manageable repair. The kit almost comes with everything you need, other than a hair dryer. But if my phone is any indication, you will absolutely want to have some 91% alcohol and razor blade on hand. Heat the perimeter until you have trouble holding onto it due to the heat (most guides say 85 C, not F btw). I went by feel, but I think I needed it to be hotter because I cracked the backing plate. I traced the perimeter with a razor, going gently and not deep to avoid damaging anything. This was one of the 2 hard parts. once you can get that pick under there you are in pretty good shape. The other literal sticking point was the battery. My old battery was SOLIDLY glued in there. I found a different guide that correctly recommended sticking the plastic sheet included near the bottom, to guide the alcohol under the battery. Let it work there for 30s, then gently try lifting with a PLASTIC pick, the one included. I tried using a screwdriver and punctured my battery, which is really bad if you aren't aware. Luckily, no fireworks, but learn from my example! Otherwise replacement was smooth sailing. The instructions included stopped at removing the battery and I don't think i could have done this repair without the rubbing alcohol or the rest of the instructions, but 4 stars for ultimately being what I paid for.
