I have an adhesive allergy and got this for my CGM. I used it as directed and applied my sensor and had no reaction. It was awesome as usually even a normal bandaid will cause redness, itching, blistering and skin peeling. If you have an adhesive allergy it is worth trying, it worked for me and now I can have adhesives on if I need to, it’s a game changer. It is a small bottle and it is expensive, but you don’t use much each time and it actually works.

This Barrier film works as it should. My skin stays rash free as the barrier helps keep the wafer on without leaking.

Excellent product for all ages, unless the young ones have to have the "fun" band-aids. Absolutely no sting, and it does create a non-visible barrier to help healing with process. Sprays on, dries almost instantly and the only indication is a slight shine on the skin. Perfect, especially for those areas where regular bandages don't stick. Great for those wounds or thin-skin areas that have a tendency to start bleeding as soon as you look at them... or look away from them. Waterproof and lasts through several showers before re-application is necessary. Definitely a great item for those on blood thinners who have a tendency of bruising and bleeding. (NOT a professional opinion, just my own... You may wish to check with your doctor before using.) Yes, it's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it; IMHO, and it lasts a very long time. (BTW I've checked the local national pharmacy chains in my area - no one has this product - at any price.)

Great product

The product itself is wonderful. Highly recommend. But this particular bottle isn't sprayin well. Since I use this product everytime I change my ostomy bag, I had extra spray bottles. So I poured this bottle into another bottle. Really helps with making the area sticky but clean to keep skin fresh and bag attached well. Price is ok.

I've been attached to a wound vacuum for a month now with another month to go. The wound is covered with large (8x10 inch) drapes of adhesive plastic, which are changed every three days. My skin around the wound was getting raw and in some areas the skin was blistering. Ouch! A nurse had Cavilon in small 1-inch pads, which worked beautifully around the wound, but it was hard to cover larger areas. I purchased Cavilon in a spray bottle, and the nurse was able to apply it to my leg (12x15 inch area). The adhesive drape went down smoothly & it adhered perfectly to the skin. It provided an excellent air-tight grip, which is necessary for the wound vacuum to do its job in helping my wound heal. The spray protects blistered skin & existing skin irritation. Well worth the price for the comfort it provides.

I'm a retired RN and always used this product to prevent tape burns when I was working. I have been having to care for my husband's wounds, and he has paper thin skin. This is a life saver because the product lays down a film on the skin, the tape sticks to the film not the skin.

I use this barrier spray to set the stoma powder that i place around my stoma during bag changes. It is very easy to use, does a great job setting and sealing the area and dries quickly. I cover the stoma in stoma powder, use the spray, powder again, spray again, then one more layer of powder. This has given 8-9 days of wear time for each bag. Great product and i highly recommend it.

Ha sido comprar esto y empezar a ver la herida curarse.. habíamos probado todo y esto es lo que ha funcionado.. Leer bien el prospecto porque es ALTAMENTE INFLAMABLE así que hay que tener cuidado. Muy recomendable.
