I was worried because you never know... but these are good to go. Price is decent for the quality, which is there. These are machined, so the fitment is very nice, the washers arent cheap thin stamped metal, they're good brass washers, and everything was obviously cleaned and oiled before packing which is how it should be and much appreciated by me the end user who will be welding these onto my trailer, and I only have to clean off a little oil not scale/rust/dirty grease. Because of the good machined fit, there is very little slouch or sag. If you're going to use this for CAR/TRUCK ramps/gates make sure you plan on using enough of them. If you have ramps that support one wheel weight, five hinges will probably get you by for everything up to F-350. If you have ramps that support two wheels (1/2 vehicle weight) you're gonna need bigger hinges. 500lb capacity per barrel, qty.8 nets you 4k lb capacity. If you want to weld them on permanent, so you cant get them back off, you can squeeze 8 into a 14" ramp without the washers, but if you want to be able to take them back off (you leave enough room for the hinges to slide off the barrel and remove, as in for removable ramps) then you can only fit 5 hinges into 14". The hinges are 2 1/16" with the washer, just a fraction under 2" without (at 12", qty6 hinges end to end is 11 13/16"). The width of a hinge where it slides off the barrel is 2 19/32, basically 2 5/8". 2 3/4" is more than enough room to wiggle and accomodate for rust in the future, so if you're trying to figure out what to order for your project, there ya go.

The Sidco Supply 5/8" X 2” Weldable Barrel Hinges with Bearing are well designed and machined to perfection. This is the first time I have had a set that had an optional Bronze Bearing, if your project allows the use of them you will be surprised at how smooth the Hinges are after installation. I welded all eight of these on a trailer loading ramp that I converted from a side swing to a ramp and couldn't be happier with their smooth operation. I gave the Sidco Supply Hinges Five Stars across the board, they are designed and function as intended and should hold up for many years to come.

I recently tried out the 2" barrel hinges for some light to medium-duty hinge applications, and I must say they met my expectations in terms of performance and value. While grease points would have been a nice addition, the size of the hinge may limit this feature. Nevertheless, if kept clean and adequately lubricated, these hinges are expected to last a lifetime. These 2" barrel hinges are a reliable choice for light to medium-duty hinge needs. Their smooth operation, precision machining, and high-quality materials make them a valuable addition to various projects. As long as they are appropriately maintained, these hinges offer excellent durability and represent a cost-effective solution for anyone seeking reliable and long-lasting hinges for their applications.

Pros: * Well machined with good fit for hinges. * Looks like they should weld up nicely. * Includes brass thrust washers that are removable. * Came with a thin coating of oil on them. * Looks like they will hold a load well for their size. Cons: * No grease fittings and no provision for grease fittings to be installed. This means either they need to be disassembled every time they need grease or I will drill and tap one end of each hinge and install a grease fitting in each one. I don't like taking things apart just to add a little grease once in a while. It is much easier to connect a grease gun and get it done fast. Minus one star. * Product listing indicates these are made in China. I wish they would find a better place to make these things. Minus one star for supporting despotic tyranny. Overall: I think they will work after I modify them to be able to add grease easily.

There's not much to say about weld on hinges. Either they're weldable steel and decently finished or they're not. These are. They're the size advertised and are nice and heavy duty so they should hold a fair amount of weight. Not trailer ramp weight (unless you use a lot of them), but solid metal cabinet door weight. The barrels have a nice smooth finish so they rotate smoothly and they're a decent compact size for the heft of them. Definitely worth the price and I'll probably order them again when I need more.

One of the pictures it states "pre greased". Thankfully, not true. I would hate to have to clean grease before welding. They only have a light oil applied to protect from corrosion. Polished is a little bit of a stretch to call something polished. They are smooth and deburred. There is enough clearance that they fit together without binding, but not too much to feel sloppy. Call it just right. You do get 8 hinges. 8 male halves, 8 female halves, 8 thrust washers.

Just the right amount of play in these hinges. They fit together great and have a tiny bit of wiggle which is perfect IMO for applications like locking tool box lids, large metal mail box doors and other things that need to close exactly in the same spot each time. Came out of the package and ready to weld with a bit of cleaning with some acetone. Comes with a brass washer, but they also fit together and work well without the washer which is how I installed mine in the horizontal position.

I haven't put these to use yet, but I can tell you these hinges are heavy and fit to gather really well. No slop at all in the assembly. Good quality stuff!
