Love this.. was easy to use, love the 60 sec of recording, haven't experienced the battery life yet but overall loved this

I was looking for something simple, easy, with a slightly lower quality audio capability so that sounded like early 2000's build-a-bear, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I saw some reviews complaining about how easy it is to flip the switch from "play" to "record" and then overwrite the message you have, and admittedly it does stick out a good deal more than it needs to. But! This feels like it can be easily fixed by putting a small amount of sticky tack over the top of the switch to hold it in place. I just got these so only time will tell if that actually works, but I certainly feel better about it.

I purchased this little voice recorder for a very special purpose. My father passed away unexpectedly from the COVID-19 virus. I was fortunate to have a saved voice message in which he was reciting a special prayer. I've recorded that message onto this little heart and it sounds terrific! I'm not sure if I'll have it stuffed into something or just hold onto it as is because it's cute.The only thing I would change about this item is to the switch used to record. Given that some of these recordings are irreplaceable, it would be nice to have the option to permanently secure it. The way it's made, it is possible to accidentally erase or record over.

It's easy to record and the sound quality isn't too shabby. I bought it to record my kids singing happy birthday and putting it in a plushie for my mom's birthday, so that she can hear her grandkids' voices. She thought it was such a sweet gift.

These are not exactly what I was hoping for. The 30 second recording is great and I love that it lights up when on Playback. If the toy is thin enough it looks like a heart is beating within. Cons: -Not loud at all. You almost have to put the toy against your ear to hear it. -When finishing the recording you have to let go of the recorder. This in turn makes a loud enough sound to be apart of the recording and makes an audible click, or whatever sound it is, at the end. Kind of like an old school phone being hung up. - The record and playback switch sticks out pretty far and can be easily bumped. Im hoping it will be hard to record over the existing recording as the child would have to compress and hold the recorder to capture anything. I did toggle the switch back and forth and it did not delete my existing recording. I do like the recorder, but its just not exactly what i was hoping for. I went with this model because it had a 30 second recording time, and another comparable model was much shorter. There are a few cons to it, but for me its not worth going through the process of removing it from the toy, returning it, and starting over with something different.

I purchased 2 of these back in 2018 so I could take the last voicemail my dad had left me and his voicemail he had set up off his phone I recorded them to the hearts so my mother could have one and I could have the other one just so when we are down and out and we just want to hear dads voice nust one more time. I'm afraid to play it too much bc I dont want batteries to die bc I'm not sure if they die and I replace them I hope and pray I dont loose his voice recording but I wont know till it happens I haven't read any reviews yet that says anything about them during and people loosing thier recordings so thata gotta be a good thing I hope anyways... I also just recently purchased 2 more for my mom and my best friend so they could have one as a gift of thier best friend that they lost suddenly and that way they can hear his voice one more time as well same way ( I recorded the voicemail off cell phone and my mom actually had a message on her phone that her best friend left her that I recorded off bc it's a very nice way to hear that loved ones voice just one more time atleast. So I highly recommend them it helps with grieving . Thank you for the order coming in great timing and reasonable price and time. Will shop again for sure.

Works wonderful! I made sock animals for my grandkids. Sound is clear and it was easy to record. Kids love it!!! I normaly dont write reviews but so impressed with this that I has to!

I bought this for my Mom.. my grandmother Is not doing so well , and so my mom wanted something to remember her by forever, so I got her this. she can record my grandmothers voice. and put it into a teddy bear and when ever she misses my grandmother, she can listen to her mom through the bear forever and always.. I ordered this through the Christmas holidays and I still got it whit in a couple days! I am very pleased :) thank you product is nice and small so it will not look weird once you put it into the teddy bear :) great sound quality. not sure yet on battery life

What a wonderful gift idea!! I did a few recording test runs and it works GREAT and it's SUPER easy to use. the sound quality is just perfect. love love love!

There is only 1 of 2 that works. The 2nd does not allow a recorded voice because the microphone doesn't work. When i tap during recording, you can faintly here it during playback, which means it does go into record mode but without a microphone, hence no good. One project done, other one...nope.

I recorded a custom message on each of these for stuffed toys for friends. At first they seemed great: they were easy to record on and the audio quality was excellent for a product of this nature. Unfortunately, it's been less than a month and the 10 second recordings I made have erased themselves, except, inexplicably, for the first two seconds. Either the battery life is about 20 days or these things simply suck. The toys have not been squeezed or pressed excessively. I figured that battery replacement would be more of a six month thing than an "every three weeks" thing. I tried re-recording on these boxes after replacing the batteries, and one of them won't even record now. The other one still works, but I don't feel like it's reliable enough to put it back in the intended toy. Considering that the voice boxes were installed in toys that have been cared for by responsible adults, I'm thoroughly unimpressed that I've had to open these toys back up and put new, different voice boxes in them. These voice boxes have been nothing but a massively inconvenient waste of time and money. I would not recommend them under any circumstances. Hugely disappointing product.
