This is a powerful router for home and small office environments. Start with the Mikrotik Android Home App, to get setup quickly then use the Pro App (Mikrotik app without Pro in name). Fun to learn and improve your networking skills with the Web Interface or Winbox configuration Windows app.

Don’t purchase this router, it seems to be having issues where the WiFi Randomly drops out

Es ist wirklich beeindruckend, was dieser kleine Router alles bietet. Die bekannten dynamischen Routing Protokolle von RIP über OSPF bis hin zu BGP(I und e), PIM SM, MPLS mit QoS und der ganze L2 Kram wie VLAN, L2TP usw. VPN Protokolle wie IPsec und Wireguard fehlen natürlich auch nicht. In die Bedienung muss man sich allerdings reinfuchsen, denn sie unterscheidet sich doch sehr stark von Juniper oder Cisco Konfigurationen. Die WLAN Reichweite ist gut, der Durchsatz auch. Stromverbrauch im Leerlauf mit 2 x 1 GBit/s Kabeln angeschlossen aber ohne sonstige Anschaltungen: Rund 7W. Aber Achtung, wer sich mit Computer-Netzwerken nicht wirklich auskennt und es auch nicht lernen möchte, sollte lieber ein einsteigerfreundlicheres Gerät wählen.

Gott it delivered before the day they advised it to come. Great. Mikrotik is my goto and I have a couple of mikrotik devices since before. It is a perfect device for the person that knows some of network and want to have control. Do I recommend this device? O YES I do.
