Thinborne Super Thin Google Pixel 8 Pro Case, [Thinnest 600D Aramid Fiber] [Feels Like No Case] [Minimalist Style with Carbon Fiber Textures] [ Free Screen Protector]

I was skeptical when I ordered. I really wasn't in the market for a carbon fiber thing, but I did get a chance to try this out so I did. First off, I was actually impressed by the minimal case it comes in. Normally, I see boxes here are all minimal to be recycled, this one is too, but gives a more premium feel for what you are buying. This seems like carbon fiber and the threads in it are neat and nicely patterned. In my past life as a car modder, I dealt with carbon fiber a lot and this version is more of a matte textured feel than glossy, which are on cars that have overcoat or clearcoat to protect from the elements. This is not raw by any means, but is very soft to the touch and provide a nice grip to the phone. The cutouts are perfect and centered. There's even a cutout on top for the mmWave antenna, which, honestly I didn't know was there until the cutout showed me. The corners have a slit to for the case to form over the corners of the phone, which is normal for this type of thin case. It is very thin and lightweight. This will not protect your phone from a long drop, but it will protect it from basic bumps. Besides that, the look is very well done. There is no lip for the front of the phone, but that is why they send you two tempered glass screen protectors. These fit a bit better than my inexpensive glass I had on previously. I did try these out because I wasn't entirely happy with the existing ones. In test fitting them, I did see they were more aligned with the shape of the phone, but just shy a millimeter to the edges. I think they did this for case fitting. Which is fine, but it bugs me a bit that I can see the screen past the protector. The other thing is that the interior of the case is the same as the other side, soft but not felt. Otherwise, if you are looking for a very minimal case that feels nice get this. Very minimal branding. The camera bump on the back is well protected for this type of case. There is a bit of lip there to keep it protected. Keep in mind, this is a minimalistic case, so do not expect heft here. If you like thin cases, this is a winner here.

Just got the pixel 8 pro which was a big change for me coming from the much smaller Samsung S21. Given the size of the phone I was looking for a case that really added no bulk to the phone but increased grip and would provide at least some minimal drop protection combined with a screen protector. Mission accomplished with the Thinborne case. Extremely well made overall with just a great feel in the hand. Cut outs are perfect and like having the volume and power buttons open. And having the screen protector which was very simple to install really gives me some peace of mind. Unfortunately the screen protector is too small so I am going to be replacing it. Just too large gaps at the screen edges to make me think it will provide adequate protection in case of a drop.

I am now on my third one of these cases because I like them so much. I am taking a star off because they don't last. I have had the bottom panel crack and fold away from the phone on two of these cases. It then catches on my pants and my hand. Fortunately the company will replace it for $10 shipping.

First impressions were very good, as even the box containing the case seemed well engineered, and the case fit my phone perfectly without any interference or movement. Cases often fail to preserve tactile button response, but exposing the buttons was a simple solution that does not significantly affect the protective function of the case. Aramid looks similar to carbon fiber from a distance, but this material is softer, less reflective, and provides much more grip. If you abuse or often drop your phone from a significant height, you might want to select a more protective case. I take care of my phone and I literally never drop it, and this case preserves tactile response, and provides the scratch resistance and improved grip I wanted. I even attached a metal ring to the phone to add MagSafe compatibility and had no issues with the case. I am surprised by how much I love this case. For me, it is perfect.

This case is very thin and light weight, especially next to the Spigen Liquid Air I had on previously. It does a great job of following the lines of the phone and all the cut-outs are spot on. I can't understate how great this thing feels in your hand. It doesn't feel like a normal case, it feels closer to a thick skin. It's smooth but also grippy at the same time, it slides in and out of my pocket easily but doesn't slide out of my hand. This case is not really designed to protect the phone from drops, more accidental bumps and scratches. There is also no lip that protects the screen if you set it face down, but it did come with some pretty decent glass screen protectors. I think this case will permanently replace the Spigen I was using before, I don't ever drop my phones so drop protection isn't high on my list of needs. I think this is a fantastic case and if you are looking for low-profile protection you should definitely check this one out.

I received this case a few days ago and have been very pleased with it. I have always used bulkier cases so this is my first thin case. It is very close to using no case at all which is a very different experience. The case will definitely protect against scratches and a drop of maybe a foot or two. It is very thin though and I would not think it would hold up to a drop from much higher. The aramid fiber gives the case a some texture which adds to the grip. There is not enough of a lip around the case to keep the screen off of any surface when it is face down, so use the included screen protector. The cutouts are all accurate. One small downside is that grease and oil tend to show quite a bit on the case but they are easily wiped off so it's not really a big deal. Overall I would highly recommend this case to anyone looking for a thin case. It is easily my favorite case.

The case is thin and unobtrusive. That's great for some environments, but don't take this thing hiking or anywhere that it could take a fall onto rocks, etc. I'll be looking for a backup case for situations like that. The screen saver, however, is a fail in my opinion. We got this case for both my 8 Pro and my husband's 8. He's put on dozens of glass protectors and said the positioning stickers didn't adhere well and made installation more difficult. But the biggest problem for me is that there is no way to cover the entire glass because the protector isn't big enough. If my phone falls at the wrong angle, it's not protected. I'll be shopping for a new glass ASAP because it's too expensive a phone to scratch or break the screen.

I really like this case with a big but if you are in high risk environments a lot or clumbsy I would get a difference case. This case setup is fantastic if you are careful with your phone. It may not handle a drop as well as a polycarbonate shell (PC) and even has a warning slip in the documentation disclaiming it. That said, if you aren't bothered by this it's a great case-light and strong. My last protector was a PC clamshell and I prefer this one for the lightness but I have to be careful with the phone.
