Its better than I expected it to be. Its very well put together and im very pleased with it. I hope it works as good as it's built and I am sure it will. If I could change 1 thing about it, I would lengthen the drain hose. The drain hose it comes with is 27 3/4" long. I can make it work regardless and I wouldn't even consider that a complaint.

Works as advertised

I installed this on an old well that I use for my barn and the water comes out very clean. It was easy to install and gives me peace of mind when providing water to my chickens.

Great little sediment filter. Being able to flush any accumulated debris with the bottom mounted flush valve is a big plus. Good quality materials and construction. The lack of a wall mounting bracket seems to be the only negative.Please come up with a mounting solution so I can give this a perfect 5 star rating.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this strainer. I have some corrosion inside my plumbing that ends up in the supply line to my washing machine. The washers are vulnerable to particulate matter clogging up the fill valve, even with screens installed in the supply hoses enough got through and plugged up the washer solenoid fill valve as they have small openings inside.I chose this strainer as a solution to install only in the line that supplies the washer as a larger size strainer would be required for a whole house system. I used the 40 micron screen supplied.The install requires some plumbing knowledge and an inside pipe wrench or other tool to screw in the 3/4 adapter nipples without damaging them but it’s not an issue for someone with plumbing experience.

This things awesome. Works great. Love the fact that you can see inside it and flush out whenever needed. I had no idea how much debris was coming up thru my well, including fire ants! Using the 40micron (finest micron screen incomes with) and dont even notice a difference in water pressure. Just give it a quick flush once per week and its great. Take 2 seconds.

I was originally going to add a second whole house filter, but not use a filter in the first one as I get some sediment from time to time. I saw this and thought it seemed like a good idea. It has helped my whole house filter last longer. On average I was replacing my whole house filter once a month and now it’s lasting at least 3 months. It is great you can open the valve at the bottom and flush out any accumulated sediment.

saves a ton on paper filters .GREAT Quality.Dont bother with the expensive one from Italy
