God of Creation - Bible Study Book: A Study of Genesis 1-11

Jen Wilkins studies have been so insightful and sensational for me. I like the format of this book, it really chunks down the work into daily tasks/study, so it’s easy to see your progress and have an attainable section to work on. This study really deepened my understanding of Genesis and how the creation account is the beginning of Gods promises and faithfulness and points towards Jesus even in the beginning. Also- you will understand and appreciate genealogies. highly recommend.

I co-led a women’s Bible study and we used both of Jen Wilkin’s books to study Genesis. Wilkin’s studies are so well done and are excellent for facilitating group study. My co-leader and I chose these studies because we needed more assistance as leaders on how to facilitate discussion and lead the group. These studies really helped with that, and helped everyone in the group come prepared with notes and takeaways to share. We noticed a difference in people’s participation and engagement because of how these books were structured. Grateful for this resource!

I purchased the God of Creation workbook this summer since I was not able to attend my church’s Bible Study. I have completed Jen’s two earlier studies and loved her teaching style. The content covered and her insights in all three Bible studies have all been wonderful and I have learned so much. I will add, as others reviews have, that it is beneficial to watch the weekly videos that accompany the study. I was fortunate enough to participate in the opportunity Lifeway provided this summer, which was to watch the videos at no cost and participate in the weekly online discussion. I would highly recommend this study (and her others) for small group study. I cannot wait for what she writes next!

I purchased this workbook to go through with 2 of my close friends this summer. We are just finishing up week 10 and we have all absolutely loved it!! I have access to the videos through our church's women's ministry and I reccomend that you also rent or purchase the video teaching by Jen. But even if you don't, this study is highly beneficial. Love, love, love!! Gets you really thinking and digging deep into what is familiar to many of us.

For any women (and men!) looking to study the first 11 chapters of Genesis, this is an excellent resource. Even after having read Genesis an innumerable amount of times, I learned so much through this study. Jen Wilkin does a great job highlighting how the narrative of the gospel runs through the Genesis account.

Our Thursday night ladies' Bible Study group completed Ms. Wilkin's GOD OF CREATION Genesis study and we've now begun her GOD OF COVENANT Genesis continuation study. Every week, we're gob smacked with the thoroughness and insightful presentations she makes and the workbook is a strong prep (homework) study for them.

After doing all of Jen Wilkin's Bible Studies, I am a firm believer that God has anointed this woman to help others read, interpret accurately, learn and apply the Word in a way that leads to greater glorification of God! Highly recommend this and all other Jen Wilkin studies!

Love this study but my book was printed incorrectly. Otherwise I’d give five stars! My copy had chapter ten printed twice, instead of having chapter nine. Wilkin is a great teacher, and her videos couple nicely with this workbook. I did the “God of the Covenant” study first, and probably prefer that study, but it has been very enjoyable and I look forward to her future studies. Wilkin is knowledgeable and gives the listeners and readers a passion to study and learn more.

I got this for my friend for bible study and she loves it

I love Jen Wilkin but I was disappointed to discover after purchasing this book that you then have to buy Jen’s online bible study talks that she had prepared to go along side it. The book on its own is not a study at all. The audio version of her talks are something like $26 and the video version is a fair bit more. Very disappointed.

Very helpful and thought provoking. Best used in conjunction with the video teaching series
