You get what you pay.
Not solid enough for impact driver, good for light duty.

Excellent (if used correctly)
This electric screwdriver accessory is a must to round out your tool box. DO NOT USE THIS IN IMPACT DRILLS! This tool is not for, nor was it ever designed for impact tools. This is a medium duty key-less chuck bit holder for electric screwdrivers. I find this tool allows me to carry only one drill instead of two. I use this in my Bosch (http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-PS21-2A-12-Volt-Pocket-Driver/dp/B003BEE12U/) and it works PERFECTLY. I was forever having to carry around a regular drill to make pilot holes or to use other small bits that were ยผ" hex shank. This tool saves me carrying another five pounds of stuff! Worth its weight in gold to me!

simple chuck
The seller's name says it all Hobby Tool Supply. This is a simple, basic lightweight chuck. It is NOT intended for heavy/construction/industrial use. It works for light jobs but if you need it to build a house, pay $25+ and buy one of the more conventional ones sold on ebay. My power screwdriver [which is just a screwdriver not a drill/driver]has a setting for drilling pilot holes and this seems suited for that use. It works perfectly with the "quick-change" type chuck on the screwdriver. There were no problems with the transaction; the seller shipped the item very quickly.

Same problems as others plus some...
The keyless chuck I was sent was not made by SKIL. It is CAL-HAWK. Doesn't exactly match but something tells me it's the same chuck in different packaging. Not very accurate or well made but will work fine for what I need it for. Remember, you get what you pay for. Made in Taiwan.

if your serious about your tools, this is not for you.
I needed one of these chucks for my impact driver for some of the rare occasions that I forget my drill, so not wanting to spend much for something that I use once and a while I decided to go with the cheapest option, when I received it Knew it wasn't good, however I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, first time I used it I over tight it (with my hand only) deforming the little plate inside causing drill bit to wobble pretty bad, now it's kind of useless cause usually when you are drilling you do so in a predispose location and you need some exactitude, anyways this is not a good chuck to buy if you are serious about your tools, I got what I paid for, I usually read the negative reviews first cause it gives you a better understanding of where a tool can fail, I did it when I bought this chuck, but instead of following the advice of the guys who give it 2-3 stars I trusted the guy who gave it 5 stars and now I'm screwed, but oh well I'll try the DeWalt now...

Really weak - a little better than a toy
I previously had a Makita chuck that failed and decided to try this Skil keyless chuck based on other reviews. Received it very quickly...but the product is not designed for anything where you care about precision. I tried three bits (small to medium diameter) and there is so much wobble in the bits that you must first put the bit on the wood with pressure in order to try to hit a mark. Not recommended.

Three Stars
worked good for awhile

It's OK
Does not reduce small enough to receive micro dill bits. Jaws require a good amount of grease or WD-40 to maintain movement.
