I purchased this power bank for backup charging capability before a 2 week business trip through the EU and UK for a period of time before I purchased a converter or for times when I was on the road or in the air with limited access to electrical sources. I am beyond pleased with this product as it charges phones quickly, has multiple charging ports and its weight is acceptable. The display is outstanding and the bank holds a charge for long periods of time. While passing through the airport in Frankfurt, Germany, this power bank was inspected by airport security as it was packed on the bottom of my carry-on suitcase which must have raised suspicions. The inspector confirmed with me that the charging capacity meets current standards for carry-on power banks approaching the limit by over 99%. I would recommend packing nearer to the top of a suitcase for easier access or simply leaving it packed in an outer pocket if available. This is a solid power bank, with all the connectivity you need, the maximum amount of capacity possible to be allowed for air travel (at least at the time of writing this), and at a reasonable price. I see no downsides. I use it to power a combination of a handheld gaming device (Lenovo Legion Go S), my iPhone, and occasionally my laptop, and it provides a surprising amount of power before it needs a recharge. It recharges quickly, and the real-time power output numbers on the display is a useful feature. The only downside would potentially be the overall size/weight (it’s pretty solid-feeling, but not distractingly heavy when added to my backpack), but there’s no way around that when you are aiming for this type of capacity. Highly recommended. (PS: I will note that the first one of these I got was sold as new but was clearly used when I took it out of the package, with scuffs and signs of use, and didn’t charge devices correctly, seemingly defective. I’m not taking any stars off for that though, as I don’t know how common those issues are, and the fact that I was shipped a previously-returned/used unit doesn’t seem to be the fault of the manufacturer. Amazon of course refunded me and replaced it quickly, and the new one was actually new, and continues to work great.)

When I got the first power bank, it had a defective USB-A port. I was able to get it replaced with Amazon without issue. However, the second power bank that replaced the first one would not fast charge at all. Amazon refused to replace it again, so I had contacted INIU support directly through their [email protected] e-mail. They offered to replace the power bank under their supposed three-year warranty, however, I still had questions to ask about it. After asking those questions, they got back with a follow up e-mail, asking for more contact information for shipping which is fine, but they began to also request that we unlawfully remove the "UN3480" label from the package for when it would be decided upon to send the defective product to them. After pointing it out to them in another reply e-mail that it would be a violation of law to ship the product to them without the label, they had since stopped responding to us for well over a month by now. It was decided that this behavior was unacceptable; that the product would be better off refunded back to Amazon. That is what we did, so we will be looking for a different power bank brand in the future. Original Review: The power bank definitely is a seemingly great product. The battery capacity is true, the charge rates are true, and the product looks sturdy despite barely visible factory microscopic blemishes (scratches) in the glass on the product straight from the packaging. However, the first power bank came with a defective USB-A port and minor blemishes in the casing. The USB-A port in the first power bank would disconnect constantly from nudging the cable while seated in the port. I tested the cable on another power source without problems, which narrowed it down to the power bank USB-A port being faulty. I had the power bank promptly replaced by Amazon. The second, replacement, power bank had a functioning USB-A port, however, the fast charging is defective and both charging the power bank and charging other devices from the power bank is at far slower charging rates than the first power bank I previously had. I noticed that while charging the second power bank, despite saying it would take two hours, it would take longer than double the amount of time. And when charging other devices, the charge rates would state themselves accurately, but still charge far slower than the first power bank was capable of charging the same devices with the same cable(s) at. Amazon refuses to replace the second defective power bank, and refunding and repurchasing it would mean paying more than originally paid for as the discount pricing has changed.

This is a decent power bank and gets the job done. However, the power output and fast charging are inconsistent. 1) Sometimes, it takes longer to charge some of my devices compared to other power banks that provides consistent power output and fast charging. Keep in mind that this happens when the power bank is fully charged and not warm or hot. 2) The battery life seems to be shorter and drain faster than my 7-year old Anker power banks , which is 7000 mAh less than Iniu 27000 mAh. Overall, it gets the job done and I will continue to use it.

It's heavy but you know what you get yourself into when you made the purchase. it's the maximum allowed capacity to be brought onto the plane cabin as a carry on (though if you are flying long-haul, most airline already provides power adapter for charging), and the high capacity also allows you to charge MULTIPLE devices at the same time, allowing higher versatility for people who are always on-the-go. The bank charges at 100W Max, but allow 140W max Out. So I usually charge it when I am in the office or hotel, and I rarely run out of juice on my laptop. I don't find the power bank heating up like a fire brick when it's charging my devices at around 120W for almost 30 mins, but I assume that like any other devices, higher heat will just shorten the longevity of the battery. So if you plan to charge your device for a sustained period, ie. full charge, then I would recommend that you charge the device so that it "stays alive" and finish the remaining charge at home. It's been very useful when I go to training or conference when there is no outlet at the table/desk and I need to stay connected for 5+ hours on my Dell or Macbook.

My son needed a power bank to recharge his laptop while at uni. We saw that the VR place we go to on occasions uses INIU to power their VR headsets. Since they use them on a daily basis we figure it should be pretty robust for school use. INIU makes quite a few power banks. The 140W looks to be at the top of their portable ones. I see they also make a 100W and a 65W, that can be used to charge laptops. I think anything below 65W is maybe more suitable for charging phones and tablets. My son's 16" MSI laptop is quite power hungry. Note it uses USB-C for charging so make sure your laptop supports USB C charging before purchasing this pack. Since he may not get an opportunity to recharge at an outlet during the day we decided to get the 140W one. We were hoping that this would be able to charge his laptop at least 2x during the day. We also hoped that it would charge his laptop faster since he may not be at one place for very long, moving from class to class. In hindsight we probably could have saved around $20 by going to the 100W pack. It would have also met his needs since his laptop peaks at 95W charging. The INIU pack is very well made. Just be aware it is relatively big and quite heavy. This may also be another reason to go down to the 100W. However, my son was ok with the weight and size to carry around all day, for the extra power the bank has. There is a good size LCD screen to tell you the charge status, remaining battery level, etc. You will get one 140W USB-C port, one 45W USB C port and one 15W USB A port. It's very good to charge your laptop with the 140W port and quick charge a phone or tablet with the 45W port. One thing to be aware of though. You need to be able to recharge the power bank. If you are running it close to empty it will take a lot of time to recharge unless you have a high powered charger for it. Just make sure if you need it recharged and ready to go for the next day that you have enough time to charge it. Get a 40W or higher adapter if you can! To conclude the INIU is a very well made power bank. The 140W capability is great for power hungry laptops, especially in a uni environment where you don't have outlets to charge from, and are constantly on the go. The price is also very good for the INIU when compared to some of the other brands like Anker. You can get the INIU on sale for under $100 where other brands will be $125 and above. If it can take the abuse in a VR center we figured it could survive uni. So far so good!
