amFilm or bust. My family doesn't use anything else.
Edit (May, 2020): I came back to note a couple important things: One, TechMatte's warranty policy is legit, and really, really awesome. Also, I mentioned that stupid me for not registering my warranty? Found out, even if you screw up an didn't register your warranty, as long as you can provide the Amazon Order Number as proof of purchase, TechMatte still honors the warranty and will replace the protector for you. It's not a gimmick, they really do stand by the product and that warranty. Not only that, I redeemed the warranty, and even in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic causing shipping delays, it took less than two days for my replacement to arrive. I stand by my first line of my original review: I can not say enough good things about this screen protector OR the company who makes them. Don't buy anything else. amFilm is what you want. Original Review (November, 2019): I can't say enough good things about this screen protector. It's inexpensive, it's waaaay easier to put it on (and put it on WELL) than any other screen protector I've ever used, and it looks fantastic unlike non-glass screen protectors that dull the screen, refract light, etc. I am *so so so* glad I got into using tempered glass and this was my first stop with my S9. Loved it so much we bought my husband the Note 9 version for his phone, and when I got my Switch Lite, the first thing I did was come on here to buy the Switch Lite version of these protectors. Should note, this is actually my 2nd purchase: I had a major fall and my protector got a small crack in the corner (for as hard as I, and the phone fell, I was in AWE) and it was annoying me. The crack didn't spread, my screen was 100% fine, and the protector did exactly what it should've. Stupid me, though: I didn't register my warranty when I got my first protector because apparently you get one replacement with said warranty according to other customers. But honestly? Didn't even hesitate to buy another. It's worth every cent. Bought my husband one, too, because he basically frisbeed his phone across a parking lot and the screen protector got a few cracks (again, these protectors are amazing) and needed a replacement, too. For anyone looking for a great, low-cost, low-profile, but durable as heck case to go with this, I use the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. It's cheap, works amazingly, fits perfect with this screen protector with almost zero gap between the screen protector and case.

Back for a second round - GREAT PRODUCT
I NEVER leave reviews, but have to say, this is a terrific product. I first bought the "amFilm Glass screen protector 3D Curve for Sammy Galaxy S9" from Amazon Jan 2019. I vaguely recall reading some concerns back then, about how the curved edge glass may or may not be compatible with my chosen outer case. I bought the OtterBox Symmetry series for S9, and there were no conflicts when first installing back in 2019. The amFilm screen protector went on my S9 first (no problems - effective cleaning materials and easy installation) then I had to gently stretch the OtterBox around the edges of the S9/amFilm. Worked great. I have never been much of a phone dropper, but honestly, I can't count the number of times my S9 took a 2-3ft fall to my hardwood flooring or concrete garage over the last 22 months. The amFilm/OtterBox combo protected my phone perfectly. However, a few months back, I finally let it fly a bit too hard and cracked the amFilm. I was somewhat shocked to realize, though I had crack lines running through my amFilm, that it still was intact and well-adhered to my phone and better yet, operated without fail. I never wanted to be one of those guys, but I ran with it in this cracked condition for a couple more months before the boss-lady shamed me into buying a replacement. So came back here to Amazon and found my Jan 2019 info for a reorder. I just now applied the new amFilm protector. This is the first time I've had the OtterBox off my phone since original purchase. The phone looks like new, so this combo has protected my phone perfectly. I'm thrilled to pay another $10 for the kind of protection the amFilm has provided for the last two years. Well done people. Great product.

Easy to install, sticks well, great customer service but not without issues
The amFilm tempered glass has been installed twice on my phone. The first time, I had an installation error. Once you place the glass on the phone, do NOT try to fix its placement. Just try and get it as good as possible and realize you wont see the little spec of dust that you forgot to wipe! It's not worth the headache of ruining the ability for the glass to stick to your phone. I have had zero touch sensitivity issues. Once I increased sensitivity on the S9, there was no problem! The glass is only as good as what's protecting the phone. The unfortunate thing with the S9 is the curved structure. This makes it difficult to find a case that will encompass the entire phone. Most of them only protect the top and bottom, with a lip, rather than the sides as well. Because of this, it's just as easy to break the tempered glass. (Which I did twice) I'm happy it wasn't the actual screen itself, but it's quite easy to chip/crack the tempered glass. I had to contact customer care and they were gracious enough to send me a new replacement with no issues; even though it was my fault. Awesome company to deal with. A couple problems I encountered were the smudges. It's very easy to get a grease like film on top. However, it's easy to wipe off with your shirt or whatever else that's pretty soft. Another issues is the rainbow effect. I didn't have any on my second screen but did have it on the first. It was on a small spot but was still annoying. I had grabbed my phone with wet hands, after doing dishes, and a droplet of water snuck beneath the tempered glass. This eventually worked it's way to the middle of the screen and dried. After it dried, there was a small dirty dot right in the middle. It was pretty annoying. Fortunately, I cracked the glass a few weeks later and ordered another one. This one, from another brand. When installing the amFilm, don't try to make it perfect. You will cause more issues than not. Be happy your screen is protected and realize it will eventually chip/crack.

Easy to install with NO BUBBLES!!!! :)
This was the first time that I was brave enough to install my own screen protector. (every one I have had in the past has always had a bubble or dust or something left inside and that always bugged me.) First of all, the packaging was really nice. I opened the package and inspected the items. I noticed that all of the items were wrapped and very nicely protected. I read the instructions and noticed a warranty. (Awesome!) Then I went to work. Following the instructions, I took off my case. My old screen protector just fell off by itself. (It must have known that I was replacing it.) I used the included wipes and microfiber to clean my phone and then I placed the easy installation tray on my phone. (there were no real instructions on this one, so I had to guess. I guessed correctly.) I pealed the film off the protector and carefully placed it on my phone. I was super impressed that it lined up so perfectly with NO BUBBLES OR DUST!!!!! I took off the tray and pressed the edges etc. to get a nice seal. I confirmed that I have my touch settings correct and replaced my case. This is a really nice screen protector and I am very excited to have it. I would take a photo, but it is ON my phone... and who has a camera that is not on their phone???? Anyway, I highly recommend this screen protector and when I end up getting a new phone I will be sure to buy an amFilm screen protector again. *ok, full disclosure: the protector has been on my phone for exactly 3 minutes and I have not used it or had a chance to drop my phone, so I haven't really tested it, but so far, the fact that there are no bubbles or dust already makes me love this one.

Easy install, works great, and feels great.
Package includes 1 Tempered Glass Screen Protector, installation device, stickers to remove lent, wet wipe, dry wipe, and cloth cleaning rag. Installation was VERY easy and straight-forward. After cleaning the screen, I placed the device in the installation device and dropped the screen protector into place. It only took one attempt and for the most part fell right into place. Zero air bubbles and it is currently working great with my Spigen case. The top and bottom black bars align with the black bars on the screen. The screen does invite fingerprints, but they wipe away very easily. The screen protector also stays in place without any question. Because it's tempered glass, it feels very smooth with no resistance. WARRANTY: I dropped my device resulting in the tempered glass protector breaking. I contacted TechMatte's warranty department and the entire experience was easy. I'd already registered the item. I clicked the link to make a claim, stated the problem, includes pictures (of the shattered screen protector on the device) and the following day a replacement was shipped. No hassles or headaches. The entire experience was a breeze.

Great application process, but randomly fell off for some reason...?
Overall, this seems like any other glass screen protector I've bought in the past, and the quality of it seems perfectly fine in comparison to those, so I don't think that was the problem. A few notes since I received the screen September 30th (24 days ago upon writing this): - I LOVED the application process--the application tray is truly a genius idea that should have been implemented years ago, in my opinion (though it makes sense that it would likely work better for tempered glass screen protectors rather than plastic ones, I would imagine), and it made putting on the screen so much simpler and almost satisfying in a way, since it really does make sure it goes on perfectly where it's supposed to. - I always read tons of reviews before buying just about anything online, so naturally that's what I did before buying this product, and overall reviews were really good--though I did remember one that mentioned how they got a strange rainbow-sheened bubble in the middle of their phone, kind of the way oil stains look on pavement. This same thing happened to me, which I noticed some handful of days after I had applied it. However, it honestly didn't bother me, since to my memory I could only see it when the screen was off and was at an angle--it didn't affect images when my screen was on or anything. - The first more really-weird thing that happened though: I'm usually listening to music on my phone while getting ready in the morning, which includes washing my face in the bathroom. Naturally, I occasionally get a few drops of water on the screen of my phone while I'm moving around wet hands or water is splashing or whatever--but I always just wipe them off right away, and even without a screen protector this has never seemed to cause issues. The reason I mention this is because I can't really think of any other way this could have happened--but not too much later in the day, I noticed it looked like water was trapped under the screen protector. I was thinking a water droplet must have run down the side of the screen in the little crack between the protector and my case, and somehow seeped up under the screen I gueeess...? This was a bit more annoying, since it was a dark splotch on my screen, and, you know--it was obviously water, which I didn't like the thought of being on my phone. However, not only was I at work and much too busy to deal with the hassle of trying to take the screen protector off, but the S9 is also waterproof, so this gave me more peace of mind just leaving it there until after I got off work. By the time I did get back home that night though, I noticed the splotch had gotten smaller, and figured the water must have been slowly evaporating--and ergo decided not to deal with taking the screen off and reapplying it (since at the time I wasn't sure if you even COULD apply a screen a second time and still have it stay on). And over the next 2 or 3 days, the water did indeed slowly evaporate, until there was just what appeared to be a tiny speck left. - HOWEVER: while I was at work the night of this third day (pretty sure that tiny water speck was still there if I remember right), the really weird thing that has never happened to me with a glass screen protector before, happened: I accidentally dropped my phone, it fell face-down on the wood floor, and upon picking up the phone, I realized the screen had just fallen...completely off?! I thought that perhaps my phone case could have contributed to the issue, but checking the description it claims to be a case-friendly screen, so that shouldn't have been the problem. I mainly thought it was just really weird. That may have also been when the screen got a tiny crack near the upper left-hand corner, but hey--that's what the protector is there for, so I'm not really complaining about that lol. What was annoying, though, was the fact it fell off at all--and since I was at work and didn't have any of the application supplies with me, I just had to clean my screen off as best I could before pressing the screen back on. - The next few days got real annoying, since there was a lot of dust and crap between my phone screen and the protector--which, as it turns out, really screws up the touch sensitivity of the touchscreen. I had to deal with this a few days mainly because I was really busy between work and school, and couldn't really find the time (or motivation, heh) to take the screen off and figure out if there was a way to clean and reapply it (upon looking it up, turns out there is). As it turns out, cleaning and reapplying the screen was fairly easy, and the protector actually went back on simply enough and has been fine since--haven't gotten that rainbow splotch, and it hasn't threatened to come off at all (which I was initially a bit nervous about, since I noticed upon reapplying it that one side of the screen didn't seem to lie COMPLETELY flat for like, the last millimeter). The only thing was that while I was cleaning the screen, a little bit too much pressure on my part while using the alcohol pad caused it to crack more, so now there's a hairline crack running diagonally down the screen to the other side, and another crack coming off the end of that first crack that diagonals down to the bottom of the screen (like a zig-zag down the screen). Again, a) it was technically my fault while I was cleaning it, b) it's the purpose of the screen--better that than my phone's screen! and c) best of all, I can really only notice the crack when my screen is off--while the phone is on and being used, the cracks are all but invisible. So, after that brick wall of an explanation, I ultimately gave it 3 stars due to the rainbow splotch (I guess, it didn't *really* bother me much, but it occurred to me perhaps it had something to do with water getting under it, like it was an air bubble or something), the water somehow managing to seep under the screen (and I couldn't just push it out, if you're wondering--I tried), and the fact that it just randomly completely fell off my phone after the first kind-of-serious drop. Honestly, I would rate it 3 1/2 stars if that was an option--because ultimately, I'm still pretty happy with it.

Better than most
Update 5/22/2020 These things are basically trash now. They are so much lighter weight now and the dust builds up under the screen much faster than before, and if you drop your phone you'll want to replace the screen protector immediately because there's so much dust. The sticker that's supposed to peel back the layer that protects the screen before you install it does nothing and has not been attached to the layer the last three times I've installed one, and it is very difficult to get it up using your fingernails or credit card. I will be looking for a different brand now, I have to replace these like every three months and they're expensive. Dont purchase these. EDIT 2/7/2020 These are still the best Ive been able to find, but the quality keeps going down. They are a lot thinner and lighter than they used to be, so they crack much more easily than before. The last two that I bought were also more difficult to install as the little tab that is supposed to peel back the cover over the sticky side would not lift the cover at all, it just peeled off and I had to use my fingers to try to get a corner to come up before installing it. Very inconvenient when you're using the sticker method to try to install it. I did manage to get another dust free install, although there will be dust up underneath it the first time I drop it and little specks over time. EDIT 6/4/19: I honestly regret buying this phone so much. I avoided buying a new phone for years because I originally loved the galaxy line and hated the curved edge "improvement/feature". I decided to try the s9 because I really needed a new phone and thought since they weren't giving up the curved edge, it was worth a try. On top of being expensive, the curved design (which is USELESS) makes it impossible to design a screen protector that doesn't let dust underneath. I dont even want to think about how many of these things I've bought at this point. The screen protector is good but if you drop the phone even once when you pick it back up you'll find a ton of dust underneath the screen that wasnt there before. I had a pretty good install on the last one I did but somehow the screen did actually get cracked in the middle (defective?) after weeks of being extra careful avoiding dust (not putting it in my pocket, not dropping it, etc). I just put on my back up proctector and somehow ended up with some annoying dust spots and feeling pretty defeated. Original Review: I think I've installed probably six of these specific protectors since the s9 came out and I've come to the conclusion that if you want a dust free install, you CANNOT use the alignment tray that comes with this, there is simply no good way to carefully lay it down quickly enough or do a slow install to where you can lift it back up without ruining the stickiness or accumulating more dust. I have tried a dozen protectors by now and this is the best one I've found. Over time dust particles somehow get stuck under the glass anyway but I have never had this happen with my old phones and protectors (On the protector, not the phone). The rainbow bubble others have mentioned never really goes away but you dont see when the screen is lit up after a few days. It has done it's job and my phone screen is intact but I also have an otterbox defender on my phone. Today I replaced the screen again (fourth time with this protector) because the dust had become unbearable and I tried installing it the same way I did a tablet a few weeks ago instead instead of with the tray; I used three of the smaller dust stickers to align the screen where I wanted it and stuck two stickers on the top side of the protector and wrapped them around the side of the phone so the stickers stuck to the back of phone and the protector itself, with the screen laying flat on the top of my phone. I then took a third dust sticker and stuck it on the opposite side with the non sticky part hanging over the edge of the protector like a handle so I could peel back the film from the bottom of the protector and slowly lay it down or lift it back up if needed. Before I would always get tons of dust but this time I only gone one tiny spec, and its on the side! There are videos out there if you need a visual but not sure if I'm allowed to link one. I do like the fact that if you mess up installing it you get one free replacement if you go to their website, that is one of the reasons I've continued to get these. It's a much better value even with the dust over time issue and I'm hopeful that will become more bearable now that I've figured out how to install without getting so much dust in the beginning.

Easy to Install - Works with my SUPCASE
For days, I read review after review, on many different screen protectors for the Samsung Galaxy S9. In the end, I decided to get this one. I also purchased the Samsung Galaxy S9 Case, SUPCASE Full-Body Rugged Holster Case with Built-in Screen Protector for Galaxy S9 praying that the screen protector would work with the case. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079BPG7CC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Here's what I can tell you - this screen protector works just fine with the case...even though the case has its own cover. I did bump up the screen sensitivity setting - but did not try it without doing so first (just b/c it was mentioned in other reviews that they found it necessary and knowing that the case I bought also has a screen cover). Installing the screen protector was SUPER simple...the applicator tray worked real well. I did not have any trouble with bubbles, dust or with positioning...but I followed instructions to a tee and did it where I knew dust wouldn't be an issue. I did note as others have stated - there is a rainbow effect in the middle of the screen when on the phone....a problem? Not at all. In fact, I don't even see it when the phone is on. When I first got it on - I noticed that there was a gap of about 1/8" on the top and bottom of the phone's screen that wasn't covered. I emailed Techmatte. I was told that the screen protector is designed this way on purpose - so that it fits cases. He told me this information was in the product description - that's partially true....you'll find that info in one of the images. All in all - I'm very pleased with this purchase and have ordered one from them for my daughter's Galaxy S9+. In fact, I ordered both this screen protector and the same case for the S9+ now that I know they will work together.

Perfect!
The applicator frame worked perfectly. The alignment was exact. And there were no bubbles! And after using it for a couple of months, there are still no bubbles. I haven't yet dropped my phone since installing it, so I haven't yet tested its durability.

Looks good and works well.
Very easy to install with clear instructions. Everything need to prepare the phone is included. Once installed, the protector looks good. It's a little more reflective than the original glass but not too bad. Light transmission is reduced by a whisker but it's not noticeable after a bit of use. Touch sensitivity was greatly reduced around the edges but that was easily remedied by changing the screen sensitivity settings built into the phone. The instruction sheet explained how to do this. It's a good protector.

Good Quality Screen Gaurd for S9
I have been using S9 for almost 4.5 years. Over the years I have used several screen gaurds. The quality of this screen gaurd is at par with the screen gaurd you get for S9 from spigen ( in 360 case).
