I bought this for my mother after she started losing hair in abnormal amounts, and she was getting really concerned. She’s going through menopause and had done a lot of research before deciding this product was worth trying and it ended up being exactly what she needed and more! Her hair shedding has dramatically reduced, and her hair looks noticeably healthier and stronger. One of her favorite things about it is the scent, she absolutely loves how it smells, and her hair feels ultra soft after every use. For someone with naturally thinner hair, that softness and strength is a huge confidence boost for her. She’s now a regular buyer because it genuinely made a difference for her.

I bought this shampoo in July of 2025 and barely fished it today January 29 ,2026 a little goes a long way and it does feel like its drying out your hair after it’s rinsed out but I did noticed a significant amount of hair growth my hair feels and looks more healthy and shiny I had a few bald spots and light hair around my hairline and now my hairline is full of hair and so much thicker I didn’t like the scent but after it’s dry it smells amazing the price was definitely worth it considering how long it lasted me and the new growth I also noticed my hair feels stronger and I had way less hair fallout it has made a huge difference and I love that you can feel it working on your scalp

Dr. Groot is a great thickening shampoo. I highly recommend it to people who have thinning hair. I noticed my hair did not shed as much, and my hair looks thicker. Since using Dr. Groot shampoo, I no longer need to use TOPPIK which is a microfiber hair I sprinkle on my thinning hair to cover my bald spots. Dr. Groot is the most expensive shampoo I've ever purchased, but it is well worth the price. As much as I like the shampoo, it doesn't have the nice fragrance that other shampoos have, but I'm ok with that.

I absolutely love the volume this gives my hair. My scalp feels so clean and refreshed after washing and massaging the scalp. I have noticed less shedding. Highly recommend this followed by the in shower treatment!!!!

I recently colored my hair so I knew they’ll be breakage and I’ve been using roots shampoo and conditioner for about a month. I honestly saw more of a difference using the conditioner. Unlike most conditioners it doesn't Weight down my hair and can be used starting at the scalp and gives my hair a nice gloss and not as much split ends. Now hair loss after showering is about the same so no difference. But hair growth it’s grown about 3inches in length. Which is a tad faster than before using it my hair would grow almost 1.5in a month. So if you wanna save money use any shampoo from target but get roots conditioner
