Do you have to shut these down when your not using the computer? ie Do they go into a low power mode with no input?

Can I use the 3.5mm input & USB DAC simultaneously? I'd like to play music from my iPod (via 3.5mm) while also hearing sounds from my PC via USB.

Chase,You can have two devices connected to the YU2's at the same time using USB and AUX. Since you don't have to choose which input is playing both sources can actually play at the same time. No amp required: the amp built into the left speaker. It comes with everything needed to connect to almost any computer. They sound very nice. Better than 99% of computer speakers. For music, you probably want to add a powered subwoofer.
