Decent size, works very well, the display is clear and vibration is strong. Its quite light weight. I found loads of stuff with it what has been dug up. Reason for 4 stars, not 5 is, the light comes on every time you switch the pin pointer on, and the on/off button keeps getting hit all the time, even in its holster, it can be a pain. Apart from that it is great bit of kit.

I'm just getting started out in metal detecting and I wanted a decent pinpointer but I didn't want to invest £100+ at the moment for a leading brand one. But equally I didn't want a cheap £15 one as it will just be unreliable, so this one seemed a logical choice. The device is a good weight and feels decent build quality. It has two settings- a general setting and an interference blocking setting. The interference blocking setting just seems to make it more 'pinpointy' i.e. when you're right next to the find. It has a screen with a signal scale so you can see how close you are to the find. Not really sure of the benefit to be honest as the general setting is accurate enough. My only critique would be that the device keeps registering 'one bar' of signal when it comes into direct contact with something I.e. if the top of the probe touches the dirt it will register one bar of signal even if there's no metal there. I checked and tested this as I was digging for a find and this was confusing me. Until I finally realised every time it touches the dirt directly it would always register one bar- even if theres nothing there. Its just annoying more than anything, but maybe it could just be a slight fault on my particular device. Also, the power button is used to manage the settings i.e. the light, vibrate, sound etc and it gets a bit confusing at times trying to go through them to find the one you need, or if you accidently press the power button. Again just a bit annoying, should just be a dedicated button for each thing. And perhaps a lock button. Overall I think its decent for the price but only for a beginner. I'll probably upgrade to a MineLab or Nokta once I become more experienced.

Was looking for a pinpointer that was a little better than the low end but not as expensive as the Garrett which I normally use. This unit so far has been great and on a par with the Garrett. It is well made and hasn't been 'falsing' which was an issue with the cheaper units..

Very pleased with this ! Never owned one before but thought I'd try this one, not too cheap, not too expensive. Works very well, I'd dropped a bolt in the garden so tried this, got the bolt and some rusty drainpipe brackets a few cms down ! Works for me & easy to use too.

Great product does exacts needed. Battery seems to last well. Got used a lot on my first day out with it

The claimed detector depths are not happening on mine. It’s ok for the price. Should have spent more and got a better one. Live and Learn
