Counts swimming laps well.
So far, works well, and I like the rechargeable feature. It took me a while to see that the "User Guide" could be opened to see 2 more pages. Then I learned how to reset the counter and to turn the display upside down.

Worked for few months and then quality issues kicked in.
Well itโs like any other counter. Yes the rechargeable aspect is good. Hence the 1 star. There are a few issues with this. 1. You have to hold two buttons to reset it. Could be good if you always accidentally reset yours but pointless if you lock it anyways. 2. It has a light option but when the light is on for a few seconds, the counter is unusable. You cannot count or reset or lock. Honestly a terrible glitchy thing. 3. I could honestly live with all the issues above if it didnโt stop working after 6 months. The counter button started missing counts. Then noticed you need to press the button really hard every time to count. Thens when I came to write this review. Tried to find the manufacturer info to write to them but couldn't find anything. If you only need it for a few weeks-months, this is a great product for long term. No, save you money and go elsewhere.

Review changed opinion
I'm sorry. I didnt give this product a very good review when I first received I. Now that I've had a chance to use it and have gotten used to it, I feel it's very good!!!

Easy to use and it works
Easy to use, seems accurate, the backlight works (that was my main reason for paying a little more for this model. It has the ability to record 6 different counts but it isn't easy to shift from one to the next. Seems flimsy, but I've used it for about 3 months and it's continued working.

Recharging issue
Had this item just shy of a year and it will not recharge. The cord will not stay attached for charging.

Works as advertised, but not great for the pool
First off, this works as advertised. The button functions: count, lock, channels, and upside down flip all work fine. Charging seems to work well, though the magnetic charging cord doesn't lock onto the ring very well. You have to position it carefully so it doesn't undock. The little box is nifty, and the screen is readable. The light feature is good. The biggest problem is, the count button is more sensitive than I expected, and it's possible to trigger it unintentionally. That has ended up making this device mostly unusable for me, but it might not be a bad choice depending on how you intend to use it. In my case, I bought this to count laps in the pool. That's probably not the best use for it. - In the pool, frequent arm/hand motion tends to accidentally trigger the count button. It's hard to check it without slowing down or stopping (which defeats the purpose). I have tried a couple different orientations, right-side-up and upside down, with varying degrees of success. But the problem has persisted. - I have noticed that there seems to be some strain on my hand/fingers when I wear this while swimming freestyle. I'm stubborn about "giving up" on purchases so I'll try this some more and update my review if I can get it to "work" for me. But either way, for people considering this in the pool - it might not be your best solution for tracking laps.
