The kit is very good with everything you need and more! There are some additional spare parts included. It takes about an hours and mine worked great, I would love to have two but don’t think you can use two together? It would be great if you could. It’s been taken over now by my granddaughters when they come round 6&8 yrs

Arrived in good condition. There are spare wood parts included (although there was no need for this as there were no damaged parts). There are also spare screws and orange plastic separators. Car works once assembled but has problems on smooth/tiled floors due to lack of friction.

I bought this for a 10 year old. He's familiar with Lego kits, so he just opened this up and built it in a couple of hours. Worked first time. Really pleased with it.

Bought for my son, he was so focused and really enjoyed this kit. I asked him what review he would leave and he said: It was fun and a bit challenging to build, but when finished looks really cool and works well. I would definitely give it 5 stars. :) He's just driven it all over the kitchen, I'd say it works perfectly well!

Great little kit. Spent a couple of hours with my 10 year old grandson building it and we both enjoyed the time. The end result is a lot of fun too. Recommended

Was excited to build this with my kids because I have my bachelors in engineering and wanted to get them into it too. All was fine until the motor kept falling away from the tracks and would not stay in so I kind of had to wedge it in there to hold it, carried on building it to find a missing bracket for the top part which isn’t a massive deal but missing parts nonetheless. Carried on building it making sure they were careful and followed the instructions to the letter, used fresh batteries and then absolutely nothing, the controller powered up just fine but the robot itself would not so now it is essentially a decoration and a life lesson that not everything will work. I also bought the mecanum kit so hopefully that works and doesn’t disappoint like this one has.

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Rezensionen, aber der Bausatz ist echt mega. Mein 6 jähriger hat ihn fast alleine zusammen gebaut. Hier und da musste ich nur mal bei einer Schraube helfen und mir der Video Aufbauanleitung, die man sich auf YouTube zusätzlich ansehen kann geht's echt leicht. Er ist unglaublich schnell und mein Sohn hat riesen Spaß daran. Er ist ein absoluter RC Car Fan. Ersatzteile sind auch viel dabei. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen. Absolut toll.

I built this with my 9 year old daughter in less than an hour, and it was a lot of fun. Everything is connectorized, so it’s all plug and play. Some of the screws are tiny, sure, but that’s fine. They give you a few extra screws just in case you lose one. You can also easily align the motors so the car drives straight. My kids love playing with this “simple” kit more than any of our other remote control or robot car kits. So, I am wondering why they prefer to play with this one constantly instead of the more complex kits, and I think it comes down to the remote control. This is a regular old-school radio frequency remote control. It’s NOT blue tooth, or wifi, or infra-red. It’s simple RF and just works. More complex kits might “look cooler” but you have to drive the car through an app, or with an infra-red remote that has to be pointed precisely at the receiver. This simple car kit avoids all that nonsense, and just works great. The Mechanum wheels are great (very fun to watch in operation), and the remote has two special buttons specifically to drive the car directly left or right. It works very well on hard surfaces, but the wheels slip a bit on carpet when driving them sideways. Overall, this was a great, easy-to-build kit, and my kids love it and play with it way, way more than the more complex robot kits that use microprocessors, and have wifi and Bluetooth controls. Easy 5 stars!
