Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition (PS5)

I wanted a game that would get me engrossed, and I turned to the company behind The Witcher series. Granted, I bought this game in December 2025, so I wasn't privy to all the launch day issues. The game installed quickly, and I didn't get any crashes until around 40 hours of gameplay. It's since crashed around 5 to 6 times, but easily loads back up from pretty much where I left off. The story is pretty decent, and throws you into a dystopian future. It quickly introduces you to the protagonist, and weaves in some decent side characters. It is in no way, in my opinion, as engrossing as The Witcher 3. I've taken my time going into side quests and the DLS, Phantom Liberty, but I haven't really found myself moved by too much. Instead, I've just enjoyed the gameplay mechanics. It lends itself to a variety of gameplays, including stealth and straight up blasting. The gameplay is really satisfying, and even though the driving mechanics make you feel like you're driving on ice, it is nice to put yourself on auto drive and enjoy the scenery. The graphics are pretty decent. They're nowhere near as good as a good PC rig, but on my Sony Bravia 9 TV, the images really pop. Most areas are pretty well populated, giving you a good illusion of a well lived in city. NPCs fill the spaces and have enjoyable dialogues amongst themselves, but once again, not as immersive as The Witcher 3. It's a game I am glad I have played, but feel I will be more likely to reach for The Witcher 3 for a replay, especially for the story. However, fighting mechanics in this game are tighter and better.

Bought this on the holiday sale. I waited 2+ years before buying to get it alot cheaper so got it for around £20 and i avoided all the issues it had at launch. The game is definitely worth getting as you get your money worth. Like all open world games it takes a while to complete depending on you and how you play obviously. It took me a while to get into the setting/environment tho but unlike alot of open world games the quality is there. No boring or bland environments.

I think it’s a pretty good game good gameplay characters can be interesting. Had some minor issues with the graphics times. I could barely see in darkness and sometimes the brightness of day was too bright so I had to spend a little bit of time trying to tweak it just right never had this issue with other games before and because I managed to sync roughly 100 hours into the game on my first play through I would say it was excellent value for money and as far as I’m aware I managed to complete nearly all the quests available any grumbles I have with the game is more my preference is someone that plays RPG‘s but if I had to know one of them the fact you still are linked to your attribute points and can limit your place style but depending on what set up you go for can also limit how you get to areas like some areas shall not be able to get to due to the fact you don’t have enough points which can be mildly annoying but again this is more of a preference is myself who plays RPG’s

First time playing but its a good game, hard to put down once you get into it

Great example of a game clawing its way back from the brink when first released and would heartedly recommend it to all. However, in this instance I couldnt access dlc included in the box, contacted playstation but didnt help and gave me the runaround saying it wasn't set to work in my region even though I finshed the game twice since.

Great game in itself, do not buy for DLC in UK as PlayStation don't honour code and claim it's out of region. Would have been 4 stars before this issue.

I first got this on xbox one x at release and quickly went away from it Since then it has come along nicely and had major improvements and even some dlc changing my original opinion to a positive one So far I have been happy with the difficulty but getting distracted from the main story by side activities it has been fun with great gameplay elements.

This version of the game is 99.99% fixed. There are some bugs here and there but not that big of a deal. DO NOT FORGET TO USE THE PHANTOM LIBERTY EXPANSION CODE RIGHT AWAY. I almost lost the code altogether. The game is excellent now. Runs smoothly on my PS5 Slim. Disc was very well packaged.
