Q: Will this game work on ps5?

It should because the PS5 is downward compatible with PS4 games. I wouldn't buy this game though because it's glitched. When I got to the point where I could upgrade to a plane the would get out to the farther islands, the game would crash. As far as I know that has not been fixed.

Q: Does this game require a joystick or just use the ps4 controller?

Controller works 100 percent fine. You're flying cessnas and such, not the popular f15 strike eagle!
