The water was pretty gross at first while the new filter was flushing, but after running it for a bit, it came out clear and tasted normal. The water flow is fast, and I haven’t had any issues with the filter so far. I also like that it comes in a 3 pack. It saves coin, & I already have replacements ready when it’s time to change the filter again.

This filter works perfectly with my Whirlpool fridge and was easy to install. One thing I’d recommend is letting the water run for a while after installing it. The water was pretty gross at first while the new filter was flushing, but after running it for a bit, it came out clear and tasted normal. This water filter is a great alternative to the Water Drop EDR1RXD1. I find this filter to be compatible with my fridge and fits well. I got the three-pack on sale. The filters are 1.5 years old with water filtration since the filter is meant to be replaced every 6 months. This is my second filter installation. After using it for the past 6 months, I can say the water tastes great. Everyone at home enjoyed drinking this water, including visitors. I did not receive one complaint about water taste. My fridge prompted for filter replacement by lighting up at 6 months, but you can keep track with the included stickers. The replacement was executed in seconds. It is recommended to flush water through the filter until it runs clear. I find this filter to be a great value for your money. You are paying about 1/5th of the price you would pay for the name brand. My fridge does not make any additional noises. I did not experience clogging. The water pressure was normal. I have to say I was skeptical at first but gave it a try. The product lives up to the positive reviews. Overall rating is 5/5 and highly recommend it.
