I picked up this car diagnostic device because we have a couple of Audis in the family that we are slowly restoring. Lately they have been in and out of the shop for what seems like very minor stuff. It was very expensive and stressful. Honestly, I was a little nervous at first with a purchase like this since I am not a mechanic but the information I found was very encouraging so I thought I would give it a try. I am really glad I did. It’s very easy to use. I am impressed. It powers up quickly, the screen is clear, and the menu makes sense once you click around a little. What I like most is how it works for different brands, especially BMW and Mercedes, since those can be pricey to diagnose. We used it on my brother’s BMW and it pulled up the codes right away, told us what needed attention, and even let us clear some lights after the fixes were made. It saves so much time and guesswork. My brother was very impressed by it and it helped save him a lot of money. It’s also great for regular family cars because it can check emissions and basic issues on just about any car since the late 1990s.
