I ordered this trimmer after getting frustrated with cheaper body groomers that either pulled hair, irritated the skin badly or just felt awkward to use in more sensitive areas. After using this Gillette Intimate trimmer for a few weeks now, I can honestly say it’s one of the best grooming products I’ve used for body hair maintenance. The first thing I noticed straight away was how comfortable and safe it feels compared to standard beard trimmers. You can tell this has actually been designed specifically for sensitive areas because it glides much more smoothly and doesn’t feel aggressive against the skin. I was genuinely nervous the first time using it because nobody wants nicks or irritation in those areas, but it handled surprisingly well. What impressed me most is how little irritation there was afterwards. With previous trimmers I’d often end up with redness, razor bumps or that uncomfortable itchy feeling afterwards, especially after trimming closely. With this one, the experience felt much gentler and cleaner overall. The SkinFirst design definitely seems to make a difference. The blades feel sharp and efficient without pulling at hairs, which was probably my biggest concern before buying. It trims evenly and quickly without constantly needing multiple passes over the same area. Even thicker hair was handled easily without snagging or tugging, which honestly made the whole process much faster and less stressful. I have also really liked the waterproof design. Being able to use it in the shower makes grooming so much easier and cleaner, especially because it helps reduce mess and feels more comfortable during use. I’ve tried it both wet and dry and it performs well either way, although I personally prefer using it during a shower. Another big plus is how lightweight and easy to manoeuvre it is. The cordless design also makes everything feel much more convenient without getting tangled in wires. Battery life has been solid so far too. I haven’t had to constantly recharge it, and it seems to hold power really well between uses. It arrived today on time. I am a woman who has after numerous trials and errors over the years, as well as reading reviews of women on women's products realised there's a disparity in quality in shavers targeting women. Cheap and not so cheerful, pulling, cuts , soreness, bumps etc. So, I decided to take a chance on a men's trimmer. it is a good trimmer. No sharp edges well rounded blade and comb. Only one comb so make sure you don't lose it. I'm uncertain how the life long blade promise works? So, I used it today and it was easy and painless! The only problem I faced was it didn't fit my universal shaving point adapter plug. Unable to comment on Battery life so, Ill wait a while. I don't understand why manufacturers make lower quality products for women when they can make the same for both genders. Will post here if any changes occurs the longer I use it. I wonder if other women use men's stuff but don't mention it ? Will be interesting to read their comments.

I've been shaving my head and had a beard I groom and kept in shape so my eye brows are the same length of hair of my beard. So needless to say I have had so many shavers that cost a great amount of money buying them over the iyears so I know straight away what quality they are and I can matter of fact say these are the best I have ever had and to be honest I can't understand why they are so cheap when they would be worth double amount of money to buy. And for a brand name of excellent quality too. I've got 2 minor downside of them if am honest but it's a minor downside only not a problem at all. One is for others it might be better if they came with size guard attachment if you want beard a bit longer but no problem or issue for me. The second is the battery charge isn't the longest I've ever had, but bare in mind I shave my head and groom my beard all the same time so I think it needs to go on charge for 10 minutes to boost the power to get to my standard. But 10 minutes charge is nearly half way full battery charge so not a howproblem for me again. I've never used in the shower so I can't comment on that side of things if am honest. But 100% value and quality for the money they cost and I highly recommend them .

I own this already, only bought the 2nd one because I lost the front assembly. Brilliant product and holds the charge for ages. Beware it's EU plug not UK.

In general, it's pretty good; it shaves pretty well, including in the private areas (my goodness, keep the comb on for this bit though, be warned). But I've had it a little over a year now, probably only use it once a week and it's reached a point where the battery has decided that it doesn't really want to last very long between charges at all. Even when it is "fully charged" (however long that takes), it doesn't really seem as powerful anymore. I've hardly ever used it in the shower because no matter how "waterproof" it claims to be, I have my doubts. I wonder if that's the cause of this "mopey teenager" phase... It uses the old style shaver plugs (not a European plug, as some other reviews have noted erroneously) so if you don't have one in your bathroom, you'll need to buy an adapter - a proper shaver adapter, not an EU adapter; they are NOT the same. I paid £30 for it last year. If it's on offer, it's not a bad little purchase. But I certainly wouldn't pay £60 for it.

Dreadful. The packaging was all very obviously pre-opened. Inside the box nothing was in its correct packaging. I get the impression this was pre-used.
