It is really powerful especially with the spinning Turbo Nozzle attached. I tape up the handle to keep the unit running continuously as my hand can get sore pulling the start trigger for hours on end. I owned a Karcher previously but I much prefer the Nilfisk. I can highly recommend it. **Q: is this too powerful for car washing?** A: The instructions say that the shorter of the 2 nozzles supplied (the high-power one) should NOT be used for car-washing; otherwise OK apparently but I have not yet tried washing a car.
